- I went up to Dundee yesterday to see my brother and as always I stopped off on the way at my most favourite garden centre. It is called Glendoick and is absolutely beautiful. The effort that goes into it is so obvious. If you ever get the chance you should give it a wee visit.
My mum was from Linlathen, Dundee but she moved away when she married my dad. We used to visit my grandparents but I don't really remember much about it as I was only small. I've got a cousin who lives in Broughty Ferry. I love Scotland and we had a holiday not that long ago in Kyle of Lochalsh then another year visiting The Borders. I can honestly say that the food was out of this world. (How I judge a holiday!) It's just a shame that the journey from Cheshire is such a long one otherwise we'd be holidaying there all the time. The plant with the giant leaves is called Gunnera, also known as giant rhubarb. I heard the other day that it's being banned as it's so invasive. My brother has it in his garden which can take a plant of that size. My garden is a lot smaller. I can see why you love that garden centre as It looks like it's got a bit of everything. Thanks for taking us along with you.
@@wendybartlett6717 aw wow, small world. My brother lives in Birkhill and my sister in law works in Broughty Ferry. I am originally from a Perthshire village of Methven, I do miss that area living near Stirling now. I watch a girl called Jes and she had planted something similar that was called Butter Burr(don’t know if that’s how you spell it). I’d love it too but I definitely don’t have the space, I wouldn’t have room for any more plants lol. Thank you so much again for watching 🥰
Love a garden centre tour because they are too dangerous in real life 😂😂. Have a super week, Ali 🥵🌞🇨🇦
🤣🤣. Yes they really are, I was terrified thingywere going to fall into my arms just walking past . You have a great week Ryan’s thank you so much for watching 🥰🌸🏴
Giant leaved plant is Rheum palmatum. The plant you thought was Rose of Sharon is a Hypericum (St. Johns Wort) 😊
@@lyntivenan4441 thank you so much. So much for my plant identifying app 🙈😬. Thank you for watching and also educating me 😬🥰
