• How to apply ENTRY vis...
a. Please visit indianvisaonli... and apply for REGULAR/PAPER VISA APPLICATION. Fill application, upload the photo, submit the application and take the printout of the visa application.
b.send the following physical documents along with original US passport & Visa application with a self-addressed return shipping prepaid envelope (not FedEx) to the attention of Visa section at 540 Arguello Blvd, San Francisco CA 94118:
(i) Copy of address proof;
(ii) Copy of Birth Certificate of the child (if applicable).
(iii) Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
(iv) Copy of passport and OCI/Existing visa (if any of your and spouse or parents);
(v) Notarized Parental authorization form, duly signed by both the parents, with copies of their passports (only for minors). Please note that in case of minor is not able to sign or put thumb impression on the visa application form, then either of the parents or both of them can sign the minors visa application. Unsigned application is liable to be rejected.
(vi) One passport size photograph (2" x 2" on white background)
(vii) Visa fees (for entry visa) of US$103.00 in money order/cashier’s check in favor of Consulate General of India San Francisco. Please ensure that applicants name is clearly mentioned/written on the money order/ cahiser's check. Please note that personal checks will not be accepted.

One request though, can you please do a similar video for OCI applicant ? Since India now allows OCI holders to travel, it makes sense to apply for OCI for infants since we can renew every 5 years. Apart from the processing time, is there any reason why we should apply for Entry visa and not for OCI ? Since we plan to make a trip in 2021 and 2022 , we are thinking getting OCI is better. Once again thank you for this video !

I'm trying to do the process in the right order. I don't want to do my hotel visa yet not knowing if im approved. Its September now I want to travel to hyderabad the middle of January to the end of February just for tourist. Maybe totally 40 days. Is it too early to apply? @@ithaangaamerica9868 thank you dear, when tracked through USPS tracking ID, docs were delivered on Monday April 12.
For them to return the passport with stamped visa, I have sent them a return envelope with stamps and USPS priority mail tracking sticker, will this be fine to get the passport back ?

Recently one of my friend asked 3 years but he got only 6 month approval . So you can apply 10 years , I don’t think so they will approve . Best of luck 🤞🏾

Hello, Once the form is submitted, I see additional field -"Have you lived atleast 2 years in the country where you are applying visa". It shows YES. This waa not asked anywhere in form. I assume that since its being filled automatically as the person is minor. Please suggest

Under 'Passport details' section, apart from current passport details, they ask- "Any other valid passport/ Identity certificate held?" Shall i give expired passport details or choose "No". Please note that he has visited india twice on the previous passport and has a valid visa on that. Thanks in advance

you can apply oci . You will get within 2 months . Now for oci you don’t want to send your son passport .

Is this visa issued only for emergency reasons? The e-visa that they have restored is only given for 30 days max now but our stay will be little longer than that.
This is not evisa this is entry visa . You can apply anytime not only emergency .

Hi, I was willing to apply for my daughter's entry visa to India who is a US citizen. The VFS global service is really poor and the customer service is also paid just to talk to them. Here are few of my questions and the response is much appreciated.
1. I see you had directly mailed in your package to SFO, there is no need to process our application via VFS Global ? ours is Chicago jurisdiction
2. When I browse through VFS global, there is no option to create a profile and register for the entry visa, any idea what's wrong there or any guidance will help. The only options I see is OCI, Renunciation, Police clearance, Global Entry etc
I read somewhere that if it's Chicago jurisdiction the application has to come through VFS global only, and their service sucks to the core with improper directions. CKGS was the best.

You need to create application for each one of you separately and send the printed applications signed by each of you in 2 places and send all the supporting documents along with applications together in one envelope. Make sure you upload the photos online in application, because they will reject the application without uploaded photos
Read thoroughly the procedure on Indian embassy website depending on your location and follow accordingly, you will get in maximum of 2 weeks.
And it’s beat to track your Usps tracker rather than the online visa status

You can apply OCI . OCI process took 6-8weeks .

This line is confusing "self-addressed return shipping prepaid envelope (not FedEx)". Do I have to send the envelop or the outgoing label which was generated after the payment? If its the envelope, then what kind? since it says not fedx.

Hi Jayant,
So we should not be using FedEx basically you can go for UPS/USPS etc..and your envelope should have a return label basically(with your self address on it) so they will send back the passport and documents in that envelope itself.Envelope big enough to fit the documents without folding them would do no specific details.
@@ithaangaamerica9868 Thank you so much for the response. SO I have to labels generated via VFS global itself i.e. incoming and outgoing and both of them are Fedx labels.
So what I understand from your reply is that I should put an empty envelop (not fedx) along with the Outgoing label I received from VFS and send it over.
Then they will use that empty envelop and the outgoing label to send the documents back to me.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

@@shoebahmed7872 I have sent documents on sept 15th evening till now there is no response. May be because of the weekend holidays, regarding your doubt I think either of the document is fine , any kind of emergencies is a good reason and there should be proof that’s all.
