They didn't mention the "Horse" one. That should have been number 1 because it basically triggered Pat to almost walk off the stage.

It was recent. The puzzle was in the category "What Are You Doing?", and was ****** * ***** *****. It was final-round puzzle, so contestants got to guess one letter, then solve the puzzle if the letter appeared.
The first contestant guessed "N", yielding *****N* * ***** *****. She guessed "riding a black horse", which was incorrect. The second contestant chose "G", giving ****NG * ***** *****. After he went with "riding a white horse", Pat Sajak stormed out and, exasperated, yelled, "Who said anything about a horse?!"
For the record, the correct answer was "watching a buddy movie".
For some reason, RUclips's comments section doesn't like the rows of asterisks I'm typing. The four words, in order, had six, one, five, and five letters.

Funny thing about the last guy, in that same game he went on to mispronounce a few other puzzles and lost money also.
I felt for the dude. They should almost have a rule where if you solve the entire puzzle it's an automatic win.

That one was really stupid, because the last word clearly had a "t" at the very end. "Potato" ends with "o," not "t"! That's just as dumb as when Dan Quayle thought "potato" ended with an "e."
Eh, @@michaelpalmieri7335, I'd say it's worse than Quayle. One could be forgiven for thinking it ends in 'e', if they've never seen it spelled out and/or can't remember, and think it'd be spelled similarly to "toe".

The Pill Pushers one was especially hilarius. Saw it live, and I kept thinking the same thing, until I saw that there was only one "P", and thought, "Naah. That ain't it." Burst out laughing when Joe said it out loud XD

I can see how someone could forget "wand". At least it was just a prius lol
He came out with more money by NOT winning the Prius, because if he won the car, he would owe sales taxes, title, and license on it, which would cut into his cash winnings heavily. Then he would would have LESS cash and a crappy Prius, which loses nearly half it's value as soon as he takes possession of it.
I was watching with my mom when the guy the Streetcar Named Desire one wrong XD. I laughed so hard I cried.

The last guy was even worse than that because not only did he screw up that one, the guy screwed up two more times.
I love how all the punchlines are written out and read before each clip. I hate laughing and I can't stand it when a funny moment catches me off guard. Kudos to the geniuses that put all of this together.
I was at the live taping for number 2 and I almost went into hysterical laughter at that blunder. I had to cover my mouth. My mom is also one of the people gasping but not the loud one.
my personal favorite of these will probably always be "a group of pill pushers", if only for Pat's reaction to it "this is wheel of fortune, Joe!". That, and the fact the next guy still couldn't get it because of his accent (or maybe it was because "this is *wheel* of fortune"?)
as usual for your top 10 lists, all of these picks were pretty good. I'm glad you didn't neglect to put "magic jand" on the list, as that's another favorite of mine. Didn't even know about your #1 pick, so I even learned something new: the judges will still buzz you if you just suck at pronouncing technically-foreign words/names
Still remember one where the puzzle was solved and the contestants (it was couples night) were going to Venice and pat asked where it was confidently they said Paris before saying France where pat intervened and said Italy sad moment for them

I feel bad for the last guy - if you solve the puzzle, getting all the correct letters, you shouldn't have to pronounce it exactly. This is wheel of fortune not jeopardy.
