i've never heard an american refer to a stroller as a 'buggy', which makes it even odder because it's not a typical phrase in american lexicon. My mother watched this show back in the day and I occasionally caught it too. She could and sometimes would solve puzzles with nothing turned over. They typically had to be long, because a number of words makes it easier to discern a pattern. I inherited a little bit of her talent, and was able to it a couple of times, with pop culture references. Very very hard though...
just read an article on the baby buggy dude, he said he knew the first word was “new” because of the letters that were given, he thought the second word was “baby” because he was a nursing student at the time and had just finished his pediatric nursing exams and “had babies on the mind” (plus he had a used letter board and B was the first suggested letter) and started guessing what supplies you’d need for a new baby… high key impressive thinking that fast

Out of all of these guesses, this one just doesn't make any sense. Yeah new is guessable but you literally have 4 and 5 letter blank words after it and it could be anything. Even with the used letters, uttering those words sounds like 1 in a million chance
@@arttukettunen5757
TOTALLY... 🤔🤔🤔... But Pat had just remarked how "good of a puzzle player" he'd shown himself to be ("...but even for you, THIS one looks 👎👎👎...") - perhaps he was smartly strategic with his word choice deduction (after the couple letters he was given and what he could at least rule OUT), and even had a vague insight into the random wackiness of the puzzle answers by the show at times, being keen to think to the include those tendencies of theirs in his random breadth/net of guesses he'd fire off, (assuming he's make it that far!), and his sharp, intuitive mind just happened to divine the answer on the first option... F'ing nailed it. 🔥😂
I know ONE thing - if homie was wearing a WIRE... That was a FAKE-ass "pat-down" by Pat!!! 🤔🤦👎🤣
@@arttukettunen5757 Two of them "Bubbly Soap" and "New Baby Buggy" have a lot of Bs. I'm thinking they are going through the alphabet and putting a bunch of each letter in there, so B would be pretty much the first one you try. If I didn't want people to win, I'd use something with letters well into the alphabet. But they also pick words with a lot of letters that people don't pick very often so if you miss the key letter, it becomes very hard. But in this case, the key letter would be one of the first ones they try in spots.
