Actually the 1% question was easier than the 25% and 20% questions. I figured it out almost immediately. I've come to understand that the clue is usually in the question.
The 1% question was NOTHING SHORT OF A BRILLIANT SURPRISE!!! I took some time off to figure out the answer because it wasn't immediately obvious to me by any means. Even after coming back to it after a while, it still made no sense to me. Finally, when the last contestant standing revealed his answer, I was like, "My goodness, this is a genius at work! Everything falls into place now!"
I answered SWEETNESS. I started with the first letters of the up-down-left-right directions and realized I couldn't make a word out of them and shifted to those of NSWE.
The first show was fun. Especially when I got the one with the animals including tiger correct, but for the wrong reason 😂. I also got the 1 % answer right.😊😊❤❤ The bookworm one stumped me, even after they said the answer 😂. Shame on me, I read tons of books 😅
I've watched 3 series of this gameshow as the UK version and while the 1% question in the first game had me stumped, the 1% question in the second was the easiest one I've ever seen! And the FN SE JR S? Question in the 2nd game actually has 2 answers. F to N is seven letters apart, J to R is seven letters apart, SE and S? Could have been the same if using a 7 by 12 by 7 by 12 combo if one were to loop the alphabet. The host says you do not need any trivia to know the answers, but in that one, a non american would need the knowledge of the American schooling system. That itself is trivial.
The 1% question in the latter game wasn't that obscure, though it did require some wit. It was the 1% question in the earlier game that was UTTERLY MEMORABLE!!!!!
@@cheerTILidie If you look at the picture, and you take out book one to read it, the front of book 1 is towards the right - or the back of book 2 if you like.
The 10% question in the latter game had me scratching my head for a bit, what's more there were FIVE options! I thought of something that I knew since I was a little girl and BOOM, things fell into place. Manage to get the answer before time ran out. :)
I have to disagree. The one with the traffic signs stumped me. And I am not a dummy. 😊 My gut instinct tried to tell me the one shaped like a house was important. Need to listen to my gut better 😂
How was the time in LA a 5% question? They just told you the difference is normal 3 hours but daylight savings moves the clock forward an hour at 2am local time, 3+1=4, so if it's 4am in NY it must be midnight in LA, not too hard at all.
❤I don't understand the answer to the 10% question. The question asked about the bookworm eating through all 10 volumes from cover to cover. How is it not 20 inches when he's eating from the front or volume 1 to back of volume 10 and each one is 2 inches thick? 2 inches x 10 is 20. I don't understand how it's 16. Please explain. Even after they tried to explain it, I still didn't get it
Yup, 20 inches was also my answer. You see, the front of volume 1 is actually touching volume 2, NOT the end of the stack. Similarly, the back of volume 10 is actually touching volume 9, NOT the other end of the stack. 20 inches would have been correct if the volumes had been arranged with Volume 1 in the extreme right and Volume 10 on the extreme left. Sadly, they were arranged the other way round which means the worm only ate through the thickness of *EIGHT* volumes.
I think the tricky part to this one is remembering the front cover of a book is on the right side of the spine and the back cover of a book is on the left side of the spine. Because we read left to right, it’s easy to make an error and quickly think the front cover must be on the left side, and the back cover on the right side. Hope that helps!
The question writers for this show are amazing!! It's not the conventional trivia show, so this is really fresh.

First time ever getting the 1% question in either the uk or US show! Feels good ahah

Easy to see this is an American quiz. How are all of the questions so easy?
I answered SWEETNESS. I started with the first letters of the up-down-left-right directions and realized I couldn't make a word out of them and shifted to those of NSWE.
Excellent!!
PUT THE REST ON BLACK 🗣🔥
also some countries read books backwards so the back cover is the front cover and vice versa

Patton gave them the answer to the first one when he said "bat-atorium". This is starting out stupidly.

I actually got the 1% question right, but it took me a while.
You're probably smarter than me LOL. I took a break of like 10 mins and even then still couldn't make any sense hahaha.
Why is volume 1 front cover facing volume 2?
@@cheerTILidie If you look at the picture, and you take out book one to read it, the front of book 1 is towards the right - or the back of book 2 if you like.
It's very similar to 1 against 100, but on the contrary, now the team has to stay against the Audience
I thought the sign one was number of sides to the order they were in but still had it right 😂

The 35% questions was a terrible question and the people that got it right guessed.

Oh my, I fell into the trap of the 10% qn :P
I could not understand how he came up with the answer to the 1% question. Racking my brain.
Incredibly easy questions... maybe Americans are not too smart...

What a stupid statement.
Please put some ribbons during the final celebration, otherwise the scene will look too awkward.😅😅😅
I got the first one right but somehow the answer to the second one eluded me. Would have been kicked out that early. :P
Ain't surprised that only two missed the 50% question, it took me less than five seconds to get the answer

Oh no, I answered 1 am.
The clock question solved my mum much easier. If 10+5=3, so 11+4 is also 3, because the 15 is the 3. She dint even think about a clock.
I got both of the 1% questions right wow
Welcome to the 1% club!!
I wonder if the 3 that got the 1st question wrong will be voting on 4 Nov? Can they even write.
I can’t find the app!?

@@SharpCookie you explained it almost perfectly! I was trying my best to explain it but I think my choice of words wasn't the best.
I was doing so well until I got tripped up by the 50% question in the latter game
Man. These questions are so easy.
The bookworm question was kind of tricky
The key to the 1% question was "when written out"
2 words only
book question is wrong.. if the front is on the right side, then the books were upside down..
Not to be rude but these questions are easy I got them all right both episodes but still a good watch..
Don't post answers here. It ruins it for the next person watching the show.

WHO wrote the host's "jokes"? Might I ask what you decided NOT to use because it wasn't funny? 🤫
The Australian version of this wasn't funny either. The English version at least has a comedian I know.
It is priceless how he cracks a joke for every question.
