A group of pill pushers from WoF is iconic and one of my favorites. Pat's reaction was golden😂😂
When I was on WoF, I wore a purple zoot suit. When I got down front for the bonus round, Pat said he would feel absolutely boring if not for the plaid thong he was wearing. Pat's pretty funny.
@bobmarlowe3390 oooo that is so cool you were on the show. 🥰🥰🥰
“A group of pill-pushers”?

“Oh, boy.”
“Goodnight, everyone! Thank you!”

That's a really good answer lol
WHOOOOOOOO!!! GRAMMAW, WHOOOOOOOOO!!!😃👵🏼
The lady that tripped on the rug won, too. Doesn't mean it's not embarrassing. How'd you like to be the guy forever remembered for that moment?
@@jaredwonnacott9732 I dunno, he seemed to be friggin' owning it, basking in the moment, all "WHOOO! GRAMMAW! WHOO!" when it worked out in his favor.
@@IAmMissingnoMaster Yes, and so would I. But not the months and years to follow. I know I've thought before about what could have possibly led him to reach that point in his life, and I'd be shocked if he isn't absolutely exhausted of people asking about it, judging him for it, and making some unpleasant assumptions about him all the time ever since.
It's cool to win, but if you're only remembered for your weirdest and most awkward moment, the fun doesn't last much past the credits rolling.
The Hollywood Squares moment is so amazing! You needed to show the part where Tom shouts in excitement when the square was finally won.
"How the hell did you people get on this show?"
-Richard Dawson, to the other contestant on the "September" episode.

A STREETCAR NAKED DESIRE will be my all-time favorite Wheel of Fortune moment
On "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" there was a guy who got the very first question wrong simply because he got his nursery rhymes mixed up. He thought Little Jack Horner stuck his thumb in a pie and pulled out a BLACKBIRD!!!
Gotta love when someone says something dumb on family feud Steve goes "What" like he's thinking "Did they just say that?" XD
oh he had that booker t thing going on. tell me he didn’t just say that. tell me, he did not just say that.
In the #3 entry, Gilbert Gottfried borrowed the phrase from another panelist on that episode, Penn Jillette (of the duo Penn and Teller), after he originally yelled it at a contestant for incorrectly agreeing with him on a question.
While Penn was funny when he said it, something about the way Gilbert Gottfried said it sounded absurdly perfect.
Gottfried himself once said that when it came to jokes, he wasn’t the type to just say it; he liked to “take a joke and stretch it out”!
13:39 "Any red-blooded American"...except those of us who don't eat at Denny's and have better things to do than memorize restaurant menu items.
R.I.P., Gilbert Gottfried!
The infamous Newlywed Game question: "Gentlemen, where will your wife say is the strangest place she's ever gotten the urge to make whoopee?"
I'm cracking up just typing the question: if you've never seen the answer, be prepared, it's hilarious.

Gilbert Gottfried's "You Fool!" answer-a-thon has to be the funniest failure in TV history. It went on for a long time and kept getting funnier as it progressed.
That moment turns 25 years old on October 1 (the date of its original airing)

"Name Popeye's favorite food."
*Presses the button*
"Chicken!"
Clearly Eve mixed up Popeye the sailor with Popeyes the fast food restaurant, otherwise she would know his favorite food is spinach.
Lmaoo right that probably would’ve been the 1st answer that come to my head too ngl😭😭😂
It was her dance, for me. As she is giving a wrong answer.😅
Some background on the 'Chicken' question.
They had to redo the Sudden Death Question 3 times, the first 3 questions were edited out of the show, because both failed to answer correctly.
Only 54 people surveyed guessed Spinach.
You Tube 'Family Feud Canada Chicken' for the full 3:42 video.
To which my response would’ve been…wait for it…
YOU FOOL!!
I like during the naked Grandma answer in Family Feud, the opponent even responds with 'I wouldn't want to see that also.'
It blows my mind how many people still don't know how the million dollar wedge works in Wheel of Fortune. Had Julian pronounced Achilles correctly, he would NOT have won 1 million, but rather the CHANCE at getting 1 million dollars. There's a reason why only 3 people have ever won 1 million on WoF.
"I don't think anyone has taken a more circuitous route to victory." Yikes. That burns. Lol
Where’s “a group of pill pushers” that’s hilarious
Richard: Name something Russia is famous for, Bob.
Bob: Russians
problem with including Robin on Catch 21 as a "fail" is that she was honestly screwed either way when she did that. She had 200 points compared to Paul at 1200 and the 3rd player with 400 and on Catch 21 after 2 rounds (which with those point totals it would have been) they say goodbye to the player with the least amount of points so either she keeps the card going over 21 and getting eliminated that way or she gives Paul the 21 and still gets eliminated so even in a fail its not like she had a good choice either way
It was a lose-lose situation.
Oh ya for sure which makes it hard to necessarily call that one a fail
yeah thats what i was thinking, damned if you do, damned if you don't
On the same "Pork" question one of his family member couldn't pronounce "Loin"..she kept saying lion but they gave it to her anyway. Also the older man that answered Alligator also answered... What is Russia famous for ? His answer "Russians".
I remembered his Russians answer especially cause Dawson mentions how he touted himself as a world traveler or something like that
My favourite, but very British. Family Fortunes, when asked to name "a bird with a long neck" answered "Naomi Campbell"

#12, Wheel of Fortune - Horsing Around. That was filmed on the Big Island of Hawaii and I was thankfully in the audience.
The September episode on Family Feud is the funniest, but the Whammy episode featuring the Menudo answer is tops.
Seeing this reminds me of “people who annoy you” on Wheel Of Fortune
On South Park. Not on the actual Wheel Of Fortune. Let's make that clear.
To be fair, the oldest version of Family Feud had a very strict time limit. The contestants had at best 1 second to think of an answer if they wanted to get through all the questions, thus encouraging them to blurt out the first thing that came to mind
Lol, I did see many of those live on tv at the time. Many answers I remember so well laughing my head off! I'll never forget "You Fool!" I thought that one would be number 1! I was watching it with my mom at that time! We couldn't stop laughing😂!
I actually miss Hollywood Squares! Many classic celebrities were there and almost always funny. Gilbert Gottfried R.I.P.
Gilbert Gottfried made the "YOU FOOL" moment a win, not a fail!
win for the funny, fail for them not getting the obvious questions right, so could count as both.
The hentai one got me😂
It reminded me of a fail on UK's _Blockbusters_ where a contestant answered "orgasm" when the correct "O" answer was "organism".
@@JamesDavy2009 🤣
"YOU FOOL!" will be funny until the end of recorded human history.

Peter Tomarken- "What article of clothing does the bride wear to protect her from evil spirits?"
Contestant- "A chasity belt."
#5 invented the term "Dumb Blonde."
Here's a similarity to Family Feud's "Pork... U Pine":
This happened on March 27th or 28th, 1984. The show was the "Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour". After the contestant won $500 in the Super Match, it was time for the Head-to-Head Match. She would win $5,000 if she got an exact match from the celebrity of her choice (I don't remember which). I do remember the sums of reward money, though. The clue was "Ice _____". Her answer: (an extremely stupid answer!) "Ice-icles"? The entire studio audience, the celebrities, the control room, and obviously all watching at home (like me!) loudly boo-ed for a long length of time! She must really hate ice cream! For that was what would have increased her winnings!!!
Ice- ick- kles and Pork - You - Pine! Think about it!!
funniest one i saw live was on wheel of fortune, when Pat Sajak gives the wheel a “final spin” and he hit Bankrupt several times in a row, and they kept playing the sound effect 😂
If January was the ninth month of my mother's pregnancy, then she was most certainly showing in September! LOL

A guy who lost on Millionaire for not knowing that Bulbasaur was a Pokémon
and the time Regis called "Mr. Freeze" "Mr. Frezzy"
And also, name a yellow fruit
@@UltimateDespairado That one happened on both the American version and the Australian version
The Pokémon question on Millionaire wasn't incorrectly answered, he walked with 250k. And it aired in 1999. No adult above 30 knew what a Jigglypuff was at the time. It's people who were kids at the time who think otherwise.
The TURKEY guys family LOOKED ON WITH pure RAGE!🤣🤣🤣🤣 it was see funny to see the footage!
The "cupine" answer wasn't the only hilarious response to that question. The family member at the face off tried to say "Loin" but her accent kept causing it to come out "lawn". Steve can't understand what the hell she is trying to say, so she attempts to spell it out for him and spells it wrong. "LOIN. L.I.O.N.LOIN!"
The copper Statue of Liberty would have originally had a nice patina but it has of course turned green
"You Fool" is still a classic
God, I still remember "Streetcar Naked Desire" when I binge-watched Wheel with my mom as it aired. 😂 I didn't know about the movie at the time but even I knew that was hilariously wrong.
In the #1 entry, the contestant will not win $1M if he guessed correctly in that round; instead, the 1M will replace one of the 100K envelopes in the final round and has the chance to win it if the wheel stops where it is placed and guesses the puzzle.
All the JEOPARDY!, Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right fails.
You forgot about Regis Philbin talking Norm Macdonald out of the correct answer which would've won him the Million! Norm was (RIP) an absolute genius who took Regis' stupid advice and withdrew at $500,000. "You Fool!!!!"
Jokers Wild - "for the big prize and everything - this large flightless bird is known for burying its head in the sand and prized for the feathers - name that bird" Dude looks around like (what am I stupid?) "That would be a penguin Jack!" OMG how Jack kept a straight face and the audience not laffing I do not know lol
The Mosquitos moment and even the Sang fail from Scrabble should have been here
12:15... the girl that literally 'Laughs Out Loud' in the audience 🤣 ❤
On "The Price Is Right" you never gave a sh*t about the cost of a new fridge. You wanted to see Plinko and Alpine Climber! :3
WatchMojo has no clue how wheel of fortune is played, yeah I know big surprise;) but anyway the dude wouldn't have won a million dollars for solving the Achilles puzzle, not how it works at all. He would've had a chance to win a million if he won the whole game and solved the final puzzle. Oh plus he would've had to choose the right envelope with the million in it also
In other words, a trifecta.
How do you spell relief?

Contestant- "A chasity belt."
The pork -upine one does kinda make sense 🤷♀️😅😂
Doesn't that start with "C"?
Considering it's spelled porcupine, no it does not lmao
No, it doesn't make sense!
The question was "Name something that comes after the word 'Pork.' " Notice that "pork" ends with the letter "k." So, "pork upine" wouldn't make sense because there's no "k" in "porcupine."
You don't believe me, look it up in a dictionary.
Same way "pot ato" kinda makes sense :)
@@RinJackson
I'm not sure what you're talking about.
How could you not include the lady that got a zero for every question during the Fast Money round, and lost the game for her family, when they only needed 18
I suspect this is intended to be focused on funny/amusing fails, which I certainly wouldn't consider that clip to be
@@RinJackson I see what you mean. But I won't lie, I was laughing so hard watching it the first time.
I may have seen some of these in my life. I'll always remember the "YOU FOOL!" one, though, from Hollywood Squares. May Gilbert Gottfried rest in peace...
Also... let me point out #1... If Julian had pronounced Achilles correctly, he wouldn't have won the million immediately. The Million Dollar Wedge is only for the bonus round. You have to make it to the bonus round without hitting a Bankrupt after claiming the wedge to have a shot at the million.
I like when Jeff Foxworthy says "that's just called being a woman." You can tell that comes from years of being married lol.
I am not sure that you can count the Catch-21 thing as a fail. There was nothing that she could have done since the third player was frozen which meant that she could not give the card to him. She was simply caught in a no-win situation.
Family feud Canada contestant at the end
Popeyes restaurant was kind enough to give her a huge gift card
These get worse and worse as the years go on.
All-Star Family Fortunes - Name a type of bean?
I was really young, but I did see the "three-letter animal" duo of "frog" and "alligator" on the original "Family Feud" when it first went out. Even as a kid, I thought it was pretty surreal (not that I knew the word surreal at the time)!
Not a fail, per se, but I remember a Family Fortunes moment where a woman gave the answer ‘a fire’ to the question ‘name something you toast a person over’. The host, laughing, said that if the answer was on the board he’d give her the money himself. It was the last answer and he sheepishly admitted he was out the amount of money the answer scored.
He'd also said that was the first time on the show that, when he said that, the answer was actually up there!
Question:
Would an orange sherbet cream soda float be considered a Slam Dunk?
What about Papparazzi fail from Letterbox gameshow or even "Fanny Schmelar" moment from The Chase...😅
In retrospect for number 18, it wasn't a fail per se as she would have lost either way as she didn't have enough points to move to the next round
"like chop, pie, and wood" WHAT THE HELL IS PORK WOOD!?
Newlywed Game is full of contestants that make Jr from Smokey & The Bandit look like Doc Brown...
