Music by,
adobe stock we are licenced to use the music in this video.
😮 its a beautiful machine indeed Amo 😊
Thank you dre!
Adjusting the steering dual rate to limit steering throw helps with keeping it straight. Belted slicks also help a ton keeping it straight.
@bbyautographics7106 I've got some belted slicks now, waiting on wheels. Got some pinions to play with. I did try adjusting the steering dual rate after this run, It did help.
But I think the stock tyres don't help when they balloon. So the new ones should make some big improvements moving forward!
Thank you for supporting the channel it's really appreciated!
Brilliant video Amo
@@rhpatel1749 Thank you!
Looks awesome. Just need better weather or indoor venue, be good fun with a few people 😁 nice video mate 👍🏻
Thank you!
This was out the box to show that it's not as easy as it looks!
There's skill that goes in to this from setting up the car and getting the power down correctly.
You probably all ready know this 😂
I have started to get this dialled in with a few changes and upgrade.
Weather would 100% help but we live in the UK
😂
Turn punch up to max
Turn timing up to max
Slide battery back
Slipper clutch tuning
My best et is 2.85 stock on 2s
@atlwolf67 oh okay! I got a spektrum esc controller. I will start adjusting Settings. Let's see how this goes. Thank you for the tips!
Hey we were all at this starting point I think I would get better slicks it will make that thing a whole new animal with a decent 2s
It's all part of the journey and having fun along the way! it's sure addictive!
I've got a decent 2s Lipo battery for this along with some Pro Line reactions slicks. Just waiting on a few more parts and I can start the process.
Thank you for supporting the channel and the tips, Its really appreciated!
@ s3 compound or the blue dot reaction?
@@slashraptor9317 Blue dot belted reaction! Thought id give them ago, trial and error 😬
@ pretty decent
@@slashraptor9317 Never tried them 😂
Let's see how they go!
There’s preload to set on the rear shocks when you tend to spin out in one direction ….
You need a longer place to run also….that truck should run low to mid 3s at 45+ mph.
@markcole6475 Would you go stiffer on the rear or softer?
Mixed thoughts by people on this 🤔
That car park is busy in the day and in the evenings it too dark to film 😁
I will get a new location sorted!
I'm just collecting parts to get the truck to where it needs to be and practice 😂
@ if your truck is consistently pulling one way…you increase preload to that side that’s pulling..adding shims to the shock or turning the shock collar if it’s adjustable ….little bit a time and test.
Also….road surface is pretty critical ….you might find one set works great on a particular road or surface , then the next location might have terrible traction…I’ve found the fresher the black top the better..
Concrete really works well but there aren’t many places that use concrete for road surfaces.
@markcole6475 There are not many fresh or clean tarmac surfaces in the UK 😬
But I do understand the road surface will make a huge impact on the cars reaction.
Thank you for the tips and supporting the channel it's really appreciated!
Thought she was gonna make off with it. !😂
@@Soney_Manic 🤣🤣🤣 she was talking to it!
@ haha. Oooo baby. You’re so hot. lol. Ok. Pretty sure seen the guys in the states use like a tyre glue or summat. Google it.
Believe it or not. I’ve got mine(both) dialed in where I can leave the line at more than half throttle and most of the time get a quick full throttle in before 132ft. It takes practice/tuning/patience… if you can do those three things you’ll have a real blast with it…especially with your buds!!
@RC-Closer1313 A lot of learning and practing just go's to show this does take some skill and setup. You can't achieve good figures right out the box without dialling it in.
Full throttle launch works well for me... slipper clutch tuning helps a lot
@atlwolf67 I will start tuning and dialling it in. I can't wait to get some low numbers. The only bad thing about this is that it's addictive! 😂
@thercstore. yes it is.. enjoy 🏁🏁
I have a problem as well with my RC's trying to fined enough space. The problem is way to many cars on the road. 😠 is dragster racing to typical U.S thing? I thought it came from the U.K 😆
@ajm6001 I think this would be suitable for the UK as you're only going 132ft in a straight line compared to top speed run cars where you need a runway.
In theory, this should be more popular. I don't believe the UK market gave it a chance due to the price of the cars.
The pick up truck version isn't quite as good as the camero car version at getting the throttle down . The camero car version achieves 60+ mph top speed .
@ianjohnhorwood2605 it's the same car different shell??? Putting the power down out of the box should be the same.
Issues I had was the wasn't set up, and I had no skill.
After setting the car up, and loads of practice, I'm getting there.
60+mph on a 2s lipo?
@atlwolf67 Wow, if I hit that, I'd be over the moon!
Upgrades and dialling in on its way!
Pretty pointless boring RC if u ask me, soon get bored of just straight line runs.
@cyrusshellard3905 all depends on what you want to achieve! From speaking to people in the USA who have been doing the hobby for some time, they all say it's competitive, especially when there's a few of you that make it interesting.
But it ain't for everyone, I guess, which is cool!
I like to use different rc's all the time, from crawlers to bashers and everything in between.
