    I love the forest approach, makes perfect sense, I just finally accepted defeat trying to amend Florida soil and moved to raised beds, wow! what a difference already.

    i found my soil to be dry when there is no soil organisms/life. ive amended my soil with my self made fish fertilizer and wood ash fertilizer. i will also be planting my first seeds i got from you this week. thank you for your content, tips. wishing you and your family the best.

    Thanks for the tips about the charred bio mass. I'm new to veg gardening and need all the help I can get lol. Haven't heard others talk about the charred plant matter before but it makes perfect sense. 👌

    Hello Neighbor LOL I am planting in my front yard this year I have good shade coverage from trees.I started tomatoes okra and hot peppers so far

      Nice. Even though it’s hot here we do need to make sure the plants get at least a handful of good sunlight hours.

      So far looks like plenty of sun getting through I may have to trim a few tree branches just to make sure it gets enough.

    I garden in green stalks. Can I add bio char at ground level to existing plants, or does it need to be mixed into the soil? Where can I get bio char? Home Depot or Lowe's?
