Ghoomar songs are crucial in Rajasthan for preserving cultural heritage, expressing joy during celebrations, strengthening community bonds, showcasing artistic talents, and highlighting traditional female roles and identities. They play a vital role in maintaining and passing down the region's rich traditions and values. Using Ghoomar song background music for a brothel scene is highly inappropriate and disrespectful. It undermines the cultural significance and traditional values that these songs represent in Rajasthani heritage, reducing a cherished art form to an unsuitable context.
If the copyright of this song is taken and used inappropriately, we should be ashamed that the rights were granted without understanding the context of its use. This oversight disrespects the cultural significance and traditional value
I doubt this is systematic killing of cultural and religious values. It is disheartening to see such misrepresentation. Meanwhile, we (India) proudly congratulate the winners in Cannes.

maybe you need to take a walk down the red light district and listen to the music being played on the streets. perhaps this song was chosen based on what was heard in a real area? (copyright issue aside). not all red-light areas play raunchy music.

Actually when foreigners just accept anything in our country then everyone accept it proudly. We are still under Britishers.
What is the point of showing such character less women in screen? And Foreigners are happy to see us down and we are without our culture, yes these character less exist but they are unnecessary not useful to make a good society.
