If you can play good. Most people will like what your playing. Not what your playing on! You did a Fantastic Demo to show how nice an inexpensive guitar can sound. Great choice of song's. Thank You 😊
Hey Red Dragon. I really appreciate that. I've been trying to mix the song selection up a little. You can only do Over the Hills so many times. LOL. Take care and be well. Mark
Another good demo for what looks like a good value guitar Mark but they are £169.88 on Amazon UK and only availble in black, we always seem to have to pay for things the same in pounds as you pay in dollars, even though the pound is worth around a dollar 20 🤔
Thanks so much for checking it out and for taking time out of your day to join the live chat. I sincerely appreciate it. Have a great weekend and take care. Mark

Thank you,,,(Vangoa 12- String Guitar Giveaway Contest (5/07/22-6/30/22)) We did subscribe and really appreciate the effort, time, talent and resource needed to make a video for posting to the internet world. Great looking Vangoa...Our first real listen to 12-string was more years than I care to mention was an album by Glen Campbell and was 12-string guitar pretty much all the way. Thank you again for putting this out there. We have a single 6-string Donner between us (Husband and I) a new guitar would be near heavenly... M 🎸
Thank you for your nice videos, I often just listen to you playing and enjoy it. It's not the cheapest 12 String guitar. The Harley Benton HBD200-12 from Thoman is around 109€. I own one and as far as I can tell it's a good Guitar as well (I'm not much experienced on 12 String now) I just had to lower the action a bit.
Nice call Danos. I think he was talking about US pricing. It's actually only 105 euros...but, it's 64 euros to ship. That's $181 plus another $12-$30 for customs. That being said, the guitar may be better quality and for all intents and purposes, it's the same price. Thanks for the tip.
I am surprised that it is considered a low end. I think it looks and sounds fantastic. I'd be super happy to be the winner because I think the Sapele Brown you used is beautiful. Great honest approach that is much appreciated and rare. Good job.
FYI, you're entered multiple times for the current contest. Good luck. My feelings are pretty simple. All of 12 strings under $250 are built to such similar standards and when you factor in great customer service and the extras they give you, I have to tip the scales in their favor. They give me a guitar to give away each month but I've refused to be an official endorser because they have a couple of products I don't love. I have to tell you, they have reached out to me at least five times to let me know what improvements they've made or are making. It's impressive that a company would take so much care. Mark
I bought a Takamine F400 way back in 1974 and still have it today. It's a beautiful sounding instrument. After watching this video, this is about the third one now, I'm amazed at the availability of really decent instruments at these price points of which are similar to my Takamine I bought in 1974 and they are electrified. A cutaway style is what has got my attention only because of wanting to play above the 12th fret for those unique tones that 12 strings bring to the table. You've given me something to think about.
I decided to look into playing 12string after playing guitar for 20yrs and found ur channel which in only 2 videos has taught me things I had no idea about with 12 strings. Awesome!
Rats! I missed the live broadcast. Great review. Honest opinion and it sounds great. Lots of extras for the price. You own and play them Mark and that is high praise for this guitar.
Mark. I really appreciate your honest reviews. There are so many people who want to play a 12 string but feel they cannot afford one. You just demonstrated that it is possible to own and play a 12 string without breaking the bank.
Both my acoustic twelves have no cutaway, so that is a definite advantage to the Vangoa. It is not necessary to play at the 12th fret and higher, but it sure sounds nice! Fret ends can be filed and smoothed out. Minor finish problems are not that important. Good intonation IS IMPORTANT! Bad intonation is not easily corrected, so good customer service is a must! Sounds like Vangoa does well on both fronts. I keep one 12 tuned down to protect the bridge and soundboard. Right now it is in open G, and I have been playing Jorma Kaukonen's "Water Song", which sounds great on a twelve. My other acoustic, a Goya from the '60s, had a trapeze tailpiece put on, so I can leave it in standard tuning without hurting the bridge/soundboard. Even using extra light guage strings there is a tremendous sideways pull on the standard bridge.
Hey Steve. I'm sure if you put 30 minutes of simple effort into, the guitar would play much better. In the annals of pro guitarists (of which I'm way down the list, perhaps at the very bottom...somebody has to be last!) I guarantee that nobody has ever set up their guitars less than me. My tele has been on the road for 25 years and I've never touched the neck, frets, or...anything, other than putting new strings on every few weeks. Same goes for the rest of my guitars. :o I should do a basic guitar maintenance course...maybe I will learn something. Thanks so much fo always supporting. I really do appreciate your time and comments. Mark
They sound like pretty decent 12-string guitars. I already have 2 Ovation 12-strings, so I'm good, but the Vangoa is cheap enough that you want to try a 12-string acoustic guitar, the pricing is not prohibitive, and you can probably get back most of what you paid selling it.
I have three 12 string acoustics. In the studio I use a Larivee (sp) or an old Ovation (this model is not longer available.), but for live gigs I use a Seagull 12 string that I picked up in a pawn shop. I paid about the same for it as the Vangoa. You have inspired me to look into the Vangoa because I was thinking about getting something as a backup guitar for live gigs. Thanks for the honest review. You always do a great job on your reviews. BTW. You need to try SRV’s “Life by the Drop” since it is an iconic 12 string piece, All the best.
Hey Magic G. Thanks so much for checking out the video. I appreciate your time and comment. It's funny, I thought that owning 11 12 string guitars was beyond extreme but I've met several players on here that own 5 plus and a couple that have more than I do! At least I can use the channel as an excuse. Hey IO. For sure a few easy upgrades would make it sound better. You're never going to get past the fact that's it's a lam top. I've never said this in my reviews because I don't want people to think I'm full of it but if you're only going to buy one 12 to cover everything, the lam top is actually better. Not as big of a selection and not the vintage selection as Norman's or the shops on Music Row but just as impressive as far as high end boutique stuff. Check out their website. They have a good inventory of ultra high end acoustics. Santa Cruz, Collings, and tons of custom Taylor's. Nice bear claw finish so they were selling for 800 used. Since I had just dropped 3500, they gave it to me for 600. I played the 254. Ded better than the 150 but not by enough to have both. I may sell and upgrade to a 3 4 or 5 but I have to unload a couple first. As far as buying cheap guitars, I'm a believer in the $3000 acoustic but I will never buy an electric north of $1200 ever again. Too many great electrics for $750 these days.
