Love it when Babymetal surprises everyone with something totally out of left field. 🙂
It doesn't seem like anyone was expecting this one. It just dropped completely without warning, but what a nice surprise. Babymetal is absolutely showering us with gifts this year.
This is obviously the studio audio over the live performance from Clear Night on April 2nd at PIA Arena MM in Yokohama. The live version with the western Kami band sounded fantastic. Those guys crushed it live.
Did you see that they have announced another leg of their tour in the UK and Europe with more shows in November and December? That takes them to 84 shows this year, which is by far the most they have ever done in a year. They are really going all out.
Supprised the hell out of me should be sleeping for work tonight but to hyped now 🤣🤘🏼🦊
Yeah they are serving feasts! 🤘🏻 I was a little worried about the girls touring so many dates in a row. But I checked their schedule, and they do have a whole month free around August/September, which is great imo. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻
@@martinmetal7481 Sadly too far for me to travel to come for any of them. I will have to wait for the world tour finale in Japan next year.
@@Hgoenge81 That have almost two months between the end of the Asia tour in Australia, and the festivals in Japan in August. Hopefully Koba let’s them rest during that time.

Definitely an absolute banger just seen them at Wembley Arena unfortunately they did not perfom it but did at Leeds 😕 hopefully they perfom it at least one of the two nights they performing in London i have booked tickets for in November 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
I watched their performance a few days ago, and then saw the MV. I think: "BabyMetal Show can show the most amazing effect only on the BabyMetal stage specially designed for them". The lighting effects on stage turned their rainbow armor into gold armor. Reminds me of the color of the gold mask in Tutankhamen's pyramid. 2:35 Su-metal in golden armor is my favorite image. This is the type of songs and blend i was looking for, and is another song that the girls love. The elements reminds a lot to DVBBS & Borgeous - Tsunami, the first time i heard the snippets of this got immediately those vibes, but i wasn't expecting that solo guitar, we got the Western Kami Band performing this for the first time and it was great. The exotic middle eastern sound (maybe?) gives to this new track a sort of tale that relates directly to METAL KINGDOM and maybe Divine Attack - Shingeki too.

They took footage for this clip when performed live at "BabyMetal Begins - The Other One", and fans at Leeds as part of the Sabaton's Europe Tour were lucky to see them live too performing this.
This journey is fascinating and the metalverse is becoming a rollercoaster.

I totally agree, this is exactly the kind of music and show that makes BABYMETAL unique, always unexpected and surprising.🤘🦊⚡
METALIZM is one of the best songs on the album. everything is right, the rhythm, the drums, the bass and the guitar riffs and of course Su's voice. the oriental sounds make the song perfect, almost arabic or even a touch of mongolian. I just love monochrome even more
I think they let the kaleidoscope guy from Shanti loose again.🙂 My personal favourite from The Other One.

I freaking love this song. The music, mix of styles, the choreography, the visuals. A solid 10 from me.
When I first listened to Shanti Shanti Shanti, I fell in love with the vocals Su was doing that.... Not sure what its called, the almost yodeling thing?.....And that's why I love Metalizm, with its Arabian feel, and that similar vocal style.... Some of the choreo feels a bit like Shanti too.....🤘🦊🤘
When the live version is released you'll have to check it out as they really bring the guitars to the fore and add more complexity. Interestingly they've slightly changed the composition/mix of the song in each live version. I guess they're finding what works best in a live setting.

Thanks again from Japan有難う💛。Metalizm and Mirror-Mirror were played on both Day-1 and 2 in Yokohama. As opposed to Mirror-Mirror MV, however, this Metalizm MV is only from Day-2, "Clear Night". Yes. It is explicitly clear that this song "characterized by tribal rhythms and bewitching phrases in a fable-like story" a tribute to New BABYMETAL. Su called this song "a new drawer of BABYMETAL" [source : magazine PMC vol.27 page 42]
Nice reaction. Fire is a great description of the performance. Since returning to the stage Babymetal seems really pumped up. Adding even more shows. I hope they don't overdo it though. Babymetal has to record another album with Momometal on it. If they do too many shows they'll have to take a bigger break to record the album.
I am a little worried about them being overworked. 20 shows in 28 days just in the UK after all the shows in the U.S. Girls are still in shape but they aren't teens anymore. They do seem happy being back out there though. 🤘🦊🤘
The two shows at the start of April in Yokohama were absolutely amazing, I travelled to Japan just for them, so glad I did. I agree with Dark Tranquil, I wish they'd used the concert audio for this video, but I guess Koba is keeping that for the concert video BD release.
Interesting, I wouldn't have expected you to like this song so much. My only (minor) complaint about it is that the second half is almost an exact copy of the first half, including the solo. But just like you, I wouldn't mind if it were longer, so that's obviously not really a problem. :-)
I said from the start that I wish Su had a third verse in this. I love her cadence and she sounds so good. Still one of my top songs for sure. 🤘🦊🤘
This one and Time Wave keep trading places for me for my favorite song on the album! They are showing here they are still masters of genre mixing!
I think you didn't like that first take of The One very much because it was aimed at long time fans. It gave us just one verse and a few choruses of the original The One song, originally written for the fans. The reason why the first take was so special to hardcore fans is we know what the song means already and why they are singing it now. Giving us our first taste of what Moa and Momo sound like with their voices together made me cry.

YES!!! So happy this one was released already. AMAZING. Those new costumes look so good in the different lights. It took on all the gold lighting and just made them looked majestic. That was so bad ass. 🤘🦊🤘

One of the best tracks on the Album hands down!! I heard from a friend in the UK that it's epic performed live!! Which doesn't suprise me as that is what Babymetal is known for.
However one thing that has me curious here. How the F*** this BabyKlok tour going to work? Dethklok hasn't performed live in a decade and gets co-headlining rights as WTF.

Babymetal has earned the rights to headline their own f*** show by now. Dethklok might be good but they need to get the $%@!# in line & take a number!
