Let's be real here. Yair's upward elbow 2 seconds before the buzzer will always be the craziest finish in MMA history. It should be a mandatory #1 on any list.
always.
First time I’d ever seen that. No way it’s not garanteed top1
Yes... We will never see that kind of elbow knock out again.
#2
He was waiting to do it though so it's not really all that, E.G when he calls on a Blitz with 10 seconds left?
I think Irene Aldana's upkick to the liver could be here too
How about Pettis' flying step on the wall kick to benson? And Silvas elbow uppercut knock out?
2:36 even better than my young siblings 🙄
Anthony petis off the cage was also awesome
That wasn't a knockout
@@michaelhunts7853 Yea man... That's why it's not in the list
if a knock out isnt done on more than a single occasion, its a fluke. like that upward elbow, total dumb luck, he was flailing his arms & it happened to hit
Matt Hughes went out from the choke he didnt get ko'd
Matt Hughes was knocked out from the choke but wasn't knocked out? Is that what you're saying?
@@michaelhunts7853 thats not a knockout, thats a blood choke causing him to pass out. Not be knocked out. Completely different. How do you not get that?
5:45 is just absolute brutality, I think it may be the most savage knockout I’ve seen
If you watch the fight where Niko Price finished Brown with hammerfists from guard, you can see Price braced his ankle/shin on the opposite side of Brown's head, effectively holding his head in place as he blasted him with those hammerfists, which ultimately increased the effectiveness/power behind the strikes. It's a small detail, but really clever on Price's part.
Yeah man head control
Mm
Ya , the same as the whole dirty boxing thing
imagine being the guy who got hit by the coolest knockout ever
Yair's elbow ko is a beautiful thing, a masterpiece
yup i have to comment because saw some people said " it was fluke " however he did it again vs Max unfortunate Max's shin is insane.
Agreed. I was rooting for TKZ, but I'm a huge fan of elbows and that was the craziest I had ever seen. Most people watching the fight live had no idea WTF happened until they saw the replay.
Literally the best best best ko in ufc for me
@@TheNightblindnessno fluke, it’s a Muay Thai technique they teach you, but always say, never execute a move in a fight unless you have perfected it 🙏
yeah it's incredible because he ko'd chan sung jung. chan sung jung's toughness is incredible. chan sung jung ate countless punch from Volk and still didn't faint.
3:30 Niko purposefully placed his foot behind Brown's head so he could give himself a platform and not allow Brown to pull away. That my friends, is a creative fighter.
probably some added power by pulling browns head in w the foot while hammerfisting
I wonder if James Vick saying to Gaethje that he was the Homer Simpson of mma is the most Ironic statement ever made by a fighter at a presser?.
Most perfect spinning kick ever Uriah Hall in TUF.I dont think that we will ever get to see that move done again is such a perfect way.Imagine getting knocked out that badly that people claps you for not dying.
I think that moment changed Uriah and limited him mentally.
Not in the ufc tho
Don't forget the one between Kevin Holland vs Jacare Souza.
I remember watching those Gary Goodridge elbows when I was 13 after that UFC had just come out on video tape. Was pretty traumatising, couldn’t shake that sequence from my memory
SAME BRO
2:42 that’s not true, at UFC 279 Irene Aldana finished Macy Chiasson with an up kick to the body, so there’s at least 3 now
A good honorable mention would be the body KO upkick from bottom landed on chiasson like a few months ago
That knockout made me an Irene Aldana simp
@@ExactSnow2 I legit though Macy injured herself I had 0 clue what had happened. And then the replay it looks like it just hit the absolute perfect spot not even that hard just wild precision on accident lol
That Edson Barboza kick is crazy! I've seen punches slower than that. The ability to spin and generate that much power so quickly is wild
Uriah Hall's in TUF was nicer and scarier in my opinion.
1:45 you can't 12-6 but no-one said you cant 6-12.
Well played
2:36 the sound of that up-kick haunts my dreams
I don’t know if this would count for this list, but Tony Ferguson did get an upkick finish on The Ultimate Fighter
Dong Hyun Kim’s spinning elbow that knocked out John Hathaway cold should’ve been on the list.
What about Prochazka's spinning elbow ?
Yair's upward elbow should be #1. I watched it live and was confused for a minute or two when it happened. It was so fast and 1 second before the buzzer.
So many fights with these crazy knockouts are all like “I’ve been training that movement” when it was 110% an accident 😂
7:10 I disagree with this. Both fighters may have been out for a short time, but it was Matt's move that caused it therefor it is his finish. He did it. He wins.
It was also his opponent's move (triangle choke) that knocked out Matt but Matt did recover first so it is his win.
@@xanxus5933 No? The slam knocked them out. The choke had no impact on the outcome.
You should’ve added Jones choking out Machida just because it was badass lol
The best punches Dan Henderson ever landed were on unconscious opponents.
I remember seeing Buckley's KO, improvisation as its best. Despite being a recent fight in COVID it was one of the most impressive KO's I'd ever seen, for sure.
WOW! The elbow knockout was insane!!
Imagine not putting Masvidals sprinting flying knee 3 second K.O on here lol
A flying knee isn't unusual at all. This video is about unusual KOs
@@3xoticG4m3r lol that specific flying knee was very unusual. Hence, fastest knockout of all time and basically impossible to get a faster k.o
@@3xoticG4m3r a flying knee is one thing. Sprinting across the cage to and landing a flying knee 2 seconds into the fight and turning your opponent into a literal plank is another thing.
I think back elbows can really fuck people up! Hard to pull off, but the mechanics of 12 inches of bone hitting the jaw in a straight line!
Gery Goodridge 👍Yes I remember him later in K1. Dangerous man
I watched this Yair Rodriguez fight live on pay per view. He clearly lost on the score cards. Seconds before the last round ended, I took my eyes off the tv screen knowing the result but as soon as I did that, I heard the shout on the audio. I thought Yair was KO'd knowing that the korean was charging but I was surprised that Yair was the one's standing. Until they do the replay. It was really a quick and smooth move by him.
What an upset.
masvidal's knee and holland knocking out souza from his back
The back fist to counter a back fist reminded me of that one Blade scene you know the one
I think Michael chanler front kick to Tony Ferguson was the most violent ko in a long time
You need to watch more cards that was nothing. Happens and has happened many many many times. It's actually clean, less violent and malicious than other attacks
@@blindingshadow3463 I watch every card the way Tony stayed out for a wile plus the way chanler kind of ran to deliver the kick
*1st time watching your channel. You got a new subscriber.*
U.hall spinning back kick should’ve been added too it was a crazy k.o
No Anthony Pettis Superman punch?
@@Carguitarsandarmbars That is the Showtime Kick against Benson Henderson.
He talks about the Superman Punch he used against Wonderboy, which was indeed a knockout.
rozenstruik got one on overeem i think
@@destano2951 Rozen just threw a good ol' overhand. Yes, he put all his weight and strength into that punch but it got the job done. But it was not a Superman Punch.
Yair should be #1
How is the showtime kick not on here? Anthony pettis jumping off the cage to deliver a flying kick to the face! Great vid but you may need a part 2 now
Number one shouldn't be number one my opinion that's spinning back kick was way better
Number one is like damn!
That's spinning back kick is like Godd damn!
Yes, in a later interview, Gary said he was supposed to go for a wrist lock 🔐 but saw the elbow opening
They KNEW that guy or they guessed that guy would come straight at em and fire 🔥 man carry lift .
It's a great interview about that night , Gary said it was so hot and humid in there.
Putro Rico
Não ter um Anderson Silva X Vitor Belfort nessa lista é BRINCADEIRA TÁ?!
You missed Kevin Holland knocking out Souza from bottom guard
Zombee was loosing that fight IMO. UFC always hating on Yair.
1:00 was more of a delayed front kick if anything but I guess it’s close enough 💀
The still shots of the victims' faces just a split second after contact-too much. Posterized.
I expected the jump off the fence roundhouse to k.o. to be on that list...by pettis I believe
Rampage power bomb should be on the list to my opinion
STRAIGHT PUT FROM AN ANIME BR7H
So yair requests to stand and bang but essentially tricked zombie?
spinning wheel kick? It's called a round house
WRONG there are 3 upkicks in UFC History.
What no Masvidal, the knee from HELL
Was expecting Hollands ko of Jacare
Number 1 not in front of a live audience all because we believed a lie...
How is Hendo's ebow more unique or better than Yair's?
If only lyoto spammed his crane kick
Nike price had to desl with his opponents top game twice lmao
So much brain damage for so little money
Raymond Daniels 720 spinning overhand right. #1.
My favourite kos are the kick feint into elbow
Do y'all just try to copy mma on point or what
Easier to just copy other people's homework than actually doing it yourself.
Note: I'm not a fighter I just like watching. Anyways, for number 7. The reason why I think it was so effective the hammer fist knockout was because his foot was on the other side of the guys head keeping his head in place. So he couldn't pull back or easily get away from the full force of the hammer fist. Also 2-3 hits like that would surely knock someone out. It was a rather impressive KO
I just got a headache from watching this.
That #2 was pure luck but still coooool😎
while I understand the rule is "fight till the ref pulls you off" i absolutely despise and have zero respect for fighters when their opponent is BLATANTLY out cold and they proceed to put all their might into more follow up shots, heat of the moment is no excuse when you can visibly see that they are unconscious. its despicable and borderline psychotic tbh
5:40 This was my first ufc fight I saw and been hooked since!! 🤜🤛👍🙋🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️🌿
Yair should be #1 . Crazy/ unheard of elbow from Nowhere !!
The showtime kick should be here
After watching these, especially the last two, are you all not worried about the CTE the follows?
Mat deserves it because they both were out cold but mat was standing in the end and know one knew even the ref and judges until he said in his corner after the fight
Where is Masvidal's knee?
Aldena’s up liver kick tho? Probably will never happen again
I left the main event of zombie and yair to hangout with my girlfriend (no wife). Biggest regret ever.
where is masvidals flying knee knockout
Kevin Holland vs Jacare Souza deserves a spot here.
Hendo killing Lombard put a smile on my face
There’s different types of knock outs and there’s this- 0:05 animated state of suffering has got to be the worst to see
Rare. Nothings as rare as Frank Mir's toe bar on Tank Abbott.
This list desperately needed a honorable mentions.
Hughes didn’t even slam him. He got choked out and dropped him lmao.
"It is all over!!!" I bet that announcer says that after he finishes to.
these moves
ive seen them been done outside ufc
it was on tekken n MK XD
I cant get past how completely brutal some of these are
Great Ref @4:13
great content
1:38 CRAZIEST FIGHT KAI KO IN UFC DC WHAT U SAY ITS A FACT
4:06 the fella got kicked between the legs
썸네일보자마자 홀린듯이 들어왔다..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
뇌가흔들리면아주 안좋습니다
0:03
6:31 aprreciate the ref.
정찬성 추하게 깨졌었네

5:16 is that john mayer?
lol, could be Bayliun..
Masvidal
