Great video.. I'm wondering if once the iPad shows the atem, if one could Airplay it, the iPad, or phone to a smart Tv. I'm doing an open mic live streaming and wish to show the performers on the house's TV without any significant latency, while also streaming live to facebook... Thoughts? Thanks
Haven't tried that. I can tomorrow when I'm back in the office. If the TV is also showing the Program Out, you could use the HDMI out for the TV and then stream via the USB Out. Of course the version of ATEM mini you have would also play a part. Thanks for watching!
Nice video Delmixedit but I'm not getting it and I own a live streaming company. $180 Accsoon box plugged into $500 iPad to mitigate buying a $200 video or computer monitor? I've even got an ASUS $169 portable monitor with HDMI in so what advantage would three or four times the expense with a smaller screen and more cabling give me to accomplish the same job? The new generation of portable monitors are just as thin as an iPad and light weight too.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I already owned the iPad Pro and since I do a fair amount of content I wanted the SeeMo for capturing better quality videos straight to my devices. The iPad also does a lot more than just being a screen. For someone running a production company its absolutely not necessary. Thanks again.
@@delmixeditfair enough if you already had iPads around. I have to view every piece of equipment as an investment that either makes profit or is a loss and for me, this would be a loss as I can’t line item it in budgets or charge clients for it. Thanks for sharing it!
I typically only record to the iPad for things that are only meant for Reels or similar short form stuff. ATEM ISOs and Resolve project are why I even got the ATEM.
You are right there are cheaper monitors. However. Not everyone wants to add another bulky device to their kit. This easily fits into a side pocket of a bag that already has an iPad in it or even someone with iPhone in their pocket.
From your reply to another comment, it sounds like the Seemo will not utilize the NPF battery to keep the iPad charged. Is that the case? Have you tried any adapters like the Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge, iPhone Lightning Audio Adapter to input video and charge at the same time?
That is correct. I haven’t tried that adapter, I have however successfully kept the iPad charged using the Magic Keyboard since it has its own charging port that leaves the iPad port open for the SeeMo. Then for all day life my NPF batteries can work while plugged in to charge via USB-C.
Have you heard of any issues with no video output. I cannot get video output when using any device as input, Atem mini pro ISO, NikonD7100 or computer. Are there any settings I might be missing. Using a NP-f550 battery. Any thoughts. I know you are not tech support. Just curious if you have heard of this issue.
I just bought the ATEM Mini Pro ISO but can't connect to my Ipad as monitor. I have the good cable HDMI to USB-C which is my Ipad port but I don't know which app to use to connect as monitor. Is it possible to connect without the Accsoon SeeMo ?
Hey. It is not possible to connect it without the SeeMo. The iPad can’t natively accept video input. As others have mentioned you could get an inexpensive portable monitor to do the same thing without the SeeMo, but at the time I really didn’t want to have another screen/device to carry and the SeeMo does more than just display the screen.
I have watched this video so many times and followed it step by step. I have the app. I have the seemo everything but all I get is black screen. This does not work and I don’t know why please help me
Not yet because the app is for iOS and iPadOS. However I know app has hinted at the ability to run apps on computers so one day. What you could do tho is use a capture card/dongle like the CamLink to put HDMI into the MBP and then use something like OBS to display it.
Not with this one unless you have the iPad Pro in a keyboard case that has a separate charging port. The newer SeeMo Pro has a PD to solve this issue. www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6D49H6B/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_R0QFYK1WMJDNNW4F0ZN9?linkCode=ml2&tag=delavantatabo-20
so when you go live, are you going through the ATEM or through the SeeMo? I'm also curious how to use the setup in the field when you don't have access to a wifi modem. I usually have my phone to livestream through the ATEM. I'm curious now with the SeeMo if there's any difference since the phone is now being use as a monitor will it also deplete the battery if you are using your hotspot.
Great question. I use both. Yesterday I went live from the SeeMo! (ruclips.net/video/buF3ibKeasU/видео.html) The battery didn’t deplete that much. If I were to do this in a love setting I may use the iPad since I can also charge it from the Magic Keyboard case while the SeeMo is connected.
For iOS devices yes. But also a camera monitor with tools like false color and focus peaking. It’s also able to live stream, which is great if you like to have better quality streams than a phone even on the go.
@@delmixedit that sounds good. I am searching a possibility to use iPad (lightning) with Atem as main monitor to get easily audiomonitoring for stream...
@@delmixedit Thanks. Did you connect any ios device with lightning or were those you habe withn usbC-type Thunderbird? is it possible to use a powersupply to the other usbC?
Is it possible to use the Atem Mini Pro to transmit the screens of 2 laptops to a projector, so that both displays can be projected onto a screen simultaneously?
New Monitor - $300... iPad - $700, idk about more affordable but does sound more convenient, you don't have to charge it, or have apple ID issues, oh wait that's the monitor lol It's definitely neat to connect your iPad that's for sure :)
In this configuration yes, but with extra features. I use the focus peaking and false color even in multi view to make sure everything looks as it should.
Yes indeed. You’re 100% correct. It does a lot more than just a monitor though. I’ve used it to stream to a second location at the same time in streaming elsewhere from the ATEM. I’ve also used it to record directly to my phone or iPad from my camera, which speeds up content creation. And also just as a killer camera monitor. It has focus peaking, false color, and many other helpful things you’d expect from a camera monitor
Thank you for this product info. Did not know it existed.
My pleasure. There’s a newer version that can power the iPad
Dope. Get video. Simple to the point and said the issue at the start. Keep up the great work.
Thanks so much for watching and the great feedback 👊🏾.
Thanks for letting me know about this. Is there a similar device for Android phones/tablets?
The Accsoon CineView Nano may be the solution.

Indeed it is. I need to get the updated Pro version.

It does work! Not sure how stable the connection would be in a actual production, but it does indeed work.

Hi did you record on the ipad, better codec / quality than the Hard drive by usb atem?

what app do we download on ipad because I saw nothing on my ipad
It’s the Accsoon See app. But you need the Seemo hardware device to use it.
Good idea, but protable monitors,to use with Atem devices, are cheaper than this device.

Not this one, but I believe the new Pro version can be charged via USB.

Yes indeed. I’ve successfully streamed to both RUclips and Facebook directly from this.
