would you help me learn basic audio engineering? i need to learn it for my videos as i cannot afford any editor!
Same here, I had a viral video with 350,000 likes and they don't give me an explanation why
Same here 😮
Mine keep cutting out - and introducing horrible noises. Tried and abandoned using them three or four times in the field (and had to resort to a dodgy rode micro camera mic - not ideal, but at least it has always worked!) Annoyingly back at base they seem ok. They'll get a couple more goes - but unless they perform, after that, it's in the rubbish.
Sad. They stopped responding after I sent audio samples to them.
How i can recover it
Don’t believe it’s possible
Great Review Del!! Something to check, i don't think the mute button works when using the XLR. I just bought this mic after your review to test for a client's podcast, and when i ran it through my Apollo into Pro Tools, the mute did nothing.
Ahhhh that’s a good note and certainly makes sense. The digital and analogue don’t cross
I don't now i was waiting for a frecuency response of the mic lmao
Ooops sorry I left that out.
Super helpful. I was wasting time every time I track building a new tracking setup. Using templates improves productivity.
Indeed. I used to always start from scratch and felt proud of that. Only realizing that I was working against myself 🤦🏾♂️😅😅
Where are we going with this now..?🫠 huUuH¿‽Ị!ı●•·.·°¯\_🙃_/¯ ꘘ⩏ƆӃ༏חᎶ AmaZìŋᏩ ᙖ☈O🅾︎O⩇·𝔣·ȼourse it was! ¯\_⨴_⨵_/¯
For mixing (with Pro Tools or Logic Pro), do you think the Avid Dock + S1 or the SSL1 UF1+UF8+UC1 is better? Another thing: do you think new controllers will be released in 2025 by AVID, SSL and Universal Audio or will the ones available on the market until now continue for a while longer?
For Pro Tools, the answer is always Avid imo. The seamless integration is 2nd to none. I’ve not heard anything about new controllers and even if I did, I couldn’t say. You never know when new products are dropping until they come, so you just have to get what’s available at the time you’re looking.
I think you can make good music
Thanks for letting me know about this. Is there a similar device for Android phones/tablets?
The Accsoon CineView Nano may be the solution. amzn.to/4022rWM
Respectfully we don’t want the new designs we want the classics especially if we can get close and save thousands that in itself is innovative
That’s not innovative either. Clones have existed for a long while. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I just don’t think we should be handing out innovation awards for things that aren’t innovative, when there’s lots of things on the market that actually are.
We would love to hear them
Where are you located?
Nearly 20-25 reels and posts are deleted🥺 How Can we get back those deleted pics and reels..? If it is possible..?
Dang! I haven’t heard of a way to get them back.
Same. What are they doing?
I have no idea. It’s definitely annoying.
I have watched this video so many times and followed it step by step. I have the app. I have the seemo everything but all I get is black screen. This does not work and I don’t know why please help me
Do you see a notification about updating the SeeMo firmware?
Was thinking about getting one... I appreciate your candid review... I could call it a one-off defective unit but I'm glad you pointed out that it's actually an issue that's prevalent enough to have to address it on their website... Hard pass for me thank you for the video!!!
Thanks for watching! It's a very disappointing issue and there seems to be bad batches, because it's about 50/50 on the amount of people that have the issue and those that don't.
I need to see more about this!
I haven’t found a use for it in my workflow, but could see it being helpful in some productions.
its serious honestly
Hate it.
can you connect the atem mini via usb type c to an iphone 16 pro and stream directly from the phone ?
No. You need the SeeMo or similar
I lost 15+ reels
Whoa!!!!!!! That’s an insane amount.
I’m considering purchasing one of the following bundles: the SSL UF1, UF8, and UC1 Bundle; the Softube Fader and Channel MK3 Bundle; or the Avid Dock + S1. However, in Brazil, we lack proper showrooms to test these setups, so I’m relying on manuals and RUclips reviews for guidance. If you have any recommendations between these bundles specifically for 3D mixing and immersive audio in both music and audiovisual projects, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!
The biggest question is what DAW do you use? If it’s Pro Tools, EUCON is the way to go without question. For post, I’m not sure SSL is the best option because they shine the most with their own plugins. Softtube is a little more open from what I can tell, but still doesn’t seem as in-depth as EUCON; especially for Pro Tools control.
So the way the ghost note button is supposed to work is that you're meant to automate it on and off when a ghost note comes in.
Yes, but it brings other stuff with it, so it’s still not perfect and will require additional finesse for some.
I chose oxford
That’s a good one indeed.
Same
Hi did you record on the ipad, better codec / quality than the Hard drive by usb atem?
I typically only record to the iPad for things that are only meant for Reels or similar short form stuff. ATEM ISOs and Resolve project are why I even got the ATEM.
If u use with the cable mic in the receiver, the noise stop…
Interesting. I can’t remember if I tested it that way or not. Shouldn’t matter though, mic was designed to work without the lav.
Just saw this video looking for a comparison to others with float32 ability. Hmmm - that must be it. I've had these since 2021 and never had any hiss. But I always use a cabled mic like the Sennheiser ME2.
same here which is disturbing
Very disturbing
Price
There’s different tiers to Pro Tools. Best to go on Avid’s site or your favorite dealer to compare prices to features.
Hi, I use LUMIX GH and set the in-camera to -12, and the transmitter to 12, and the sound is fine for me. Best No new firmware because I use mac. LOL. got to have PC for firmware update???? mmmm
Awesome. You got a good one.
Thank you for this product info. Did not know it existed.
My pleasure. There’s a newer version that can power the iPad
this is pretty dope!
Yea man. Definitely comes in handy once you get it down!
@@delmixedit yea when I’m auditioning lines as I edit for game audio this will be clutch when comparing takes 300 lines later 😂
@MixedbyToryG EXACTLY!!!!!! Perfect use case for it. ✊🏾
NICE, tying it now
What did you think?
@@delmixedit its cool but I'm old so found quicker working the old way
Thank you Thank you! I've never understood this until this video.
I’m so glad I finally cracked the code for you! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Complicated
Definitely an advanced technique. It’s a clutch move though because there are many editing tasks that are easier done when you can retail a selection in one place while simultaneously working in another.
I've known about this for years, but never actually knew how it worked or the intended application. Thanks man!
My pleasure! Glad I opened up some possibilities for you
man, I swear I forgot about this. haven't used this in about 4yrs mainly doing music but dang I could of definitely used it last week on a session
Yessir! It’s a sleeper feature for sure. Glad I brought it back to light for you.
"LIKE" 2
Glad you enjoyed it enough to like. Thanks for watching.
Nice vid!
Thank you sir! Greatly appreciated.

Do you need a preamp or pr can you hook it up to an audio interface?
As long as the interface has a mic preamp built in, you’re good to go.
Just make sure u dont put 48volts on,
@@drillgirl718 Right it's self powered
Same here..2 reels😢
Whoa. I haven’t seen this happen in a while for me. Thanks for reporting that it’s still going on 🤦🏾♂️
When you insert NFuse in comparison with the original mix bus, it sounds like it takes away the transients energy of the snare and had a bit less punch. I actually liked the bus more without the plugin. Have to listen on the studio monitors to hear what else is affected by the plugin.
The original was what I dialed in for the record when I mixed it, so I hope it’s better than a quick throwing of a new plugin on it 😅😅😅😅😅
@@delmixedit 🤗
Nowaday I only seldom browse YT for plugin checks. Too often the words don't match what I hear. It seems like your ears are tools to trust. I appreciate that you're saying what you actually are able to hear. That's rare on YT, in particular when a new plugin is tested in action. I also hear the transients are mangled with too much. That's true for other videos about Silencer, where it was not mentioned. Thank you.
My pleasure. I’m sure this is why some companies refrain from reaching out to me 😂😂😂
@@delmixedit stay true to yourself, man. Not to a company. 🤗
I have been wanting to hear someone go into this topic. This was so informative. Thanks!
I’m glad it was helpful! I need to update this as I’ve learned quite a bit more since
maann i think i might say fuck it and buy the tube tech when i get more money. I’m only 20 and stay home with my folks so i got money to invest. but the WA1B is such an amazingly price compressor
I have one that’s been modded by Revive Audio. It’s definitely a nice piece for the money and has the character for sure. If you’re working with folks now, it will be good to have the hardware. You can always upgrade later.
No
It’s be fully released now 😅😅😅🤣
How does the gen 1 Dbox compare to the gen 2 in sound quality?
That’s a great question. I have no clue. Never owned the gen 1.
@@delmixedit the gen 1’s are pretty affordable right now I’m deciding if I should just get the legacy version or an audient nero instead
@UncleT525 newer technology is always where I lean. The Nero I’ve not heard great things about yet. Seems like they released it a bit prematurely because the app control wasn’t available yet last I heard.
Focusrite sound materials are causing your vocal problem. Consider investing $1000 in M-audio equipment and notice the difference.
You can't be serious. This Focusrite Red4Pre cost 3 times anything M-audio. Further more I've gone through several pieces of Warm Audio gear, all with the same result of a weird sound between 2k-5k. Most of my gear of there's has been modded because of it.
