- Welcome to this FULL sailboat tour of "Spearit Animal"!
A 2006 Beneteau Cyclades 50.5. This boat has been painstaking, restored & refitted from complete neglect and near destruction... to be a full-time international cruising & liveaboard sailboat. Purpose built for raging parties, fishing above & below the ocean and the home for two full-time RUclipsrs; Raff & Sasha with their channel also named @SpearItAnimal.
This boat has a 6.8' bottom draft, a 68' air draft. 35 gross tones. Held in place by a 77lb SS Ultra on 170' of 1/2 chain. This boat holds 210 gallons of fresh water with a watermaker production of 40gph. Powered by A 110hp Turbo Yanmar Diesel engine and 100gallon diesel stored onboard. Electrical production of 3050w solar and 1350amphr @12v lithium house battery bank. And TONS of outside & inside storage.
Inside this gorgeous monohull sailboat has 3 full cabins, 2 full bathrooms, and a dedicated shower room. A very large saloon, with full theater entertainment, gorgeous kitchen, and even a mini workshop.

That’s the nicest sailboat I’ve ever seen that a person could afford without having to be a multimillionaire. Really impressive what they did with it.

32:25 ive finally had my first moment of recognizing someone's sticker, I saw that "Lets" sticker, and Im rather happy to see Expedition Evans. I only started diving (Heh) into the sailing YT Community recently, so its kinda nice being able to finally recognize things like that.

It was fun watching him build this boat. The only thing I would stay away from are the BattleBorn batteries. Once they leave the U.S. or Canada their warranty is void.

Gasoline in jerry cans must NOT be stowed below deck in a cockpit locker or anywhere below deck. Very unsafe practice, a tragedy waiting to happen.
Gasoline vapors are heavier than air snd if they sink into the bilge and find an ignition source, it’s cookies for the boat and it’s occupants.
Do your own boat next !

Huub is a great guy, but you really have no idea what you're talking about with Raff and Sash. Learn their story before posting an ignorant comment.
The international law of the sea does require that the skipper maintains a paper chart position log. What if the electrics goes down and you don’t have a last known position. You tubers have a responsibility to not spread wrong safety information. Please.
It's not that we don't know, it's that we don't care.... there is a million things we do in every video that is wrong, especially to these armchair captains...... but yet somehow we keep sailing on and having fun. :)
