Thanks for the video. My pump was a trickle, then a cannon to the ceiling after your video. Thank you a million times. Tony from Vancouver 👍
This was exactly what was wrong with my pump as well. Thanks for all the help!
Thanks. Cleaned mine just now after watching your video. Float got stuck so the motor kept on running. Opened it up and cleaned it thoroughly with hot water and vinegar.
Thank you so much for this video. I was able to clear the clogged check valve and it is working perfectly once again!
Thank you my man, I think you just saved me a $400 house call!🙌
This was exactly my issue, fixed it myself before putting in call, thank you!
Rule 101 always shut down the power before any maintenance
How the hell do u remove the lid on the dam thing?! I have a model CP- 22 n there r no lid screws
Thank you! Mine had a smashed up earwig corpse inside. Those suckers get everywhere.
Thanks for the advice my check valve was just dirty.
utube serving the purpose we ever wanted it in the 1st place!
Nice share
(hopefully my comment isn't deleted by utube)
Thanks for sharing I should start checking the check valves for now on.
Did you check those yellow wires to the pump side while disconnected, with a multimeter to insure that they have continuity? And then fill the tank with water and see that wires are now open circuit, ie no continuity. If this test is not done the switch may be bad and you wouldn’t know. Remember that there are two floats. One that turns the pump on and the other that opens the switch connecting the two yellow wires. Testing scope must include both floats.
Saved me calling out a repair guy. Thanks
After my husband cleaned the pump it worked for about four hours. Then it just started to go on and off on and off constantly. Is it possible that he connected the wiring wrong? Would the pump be going on and off because of a clogged line? TY. BTW GREAT VIDEO
Ever since it’s been running constantly he did try hot water with a bit of bleach to see if that would unclog or dislodge the float in case it was stuck.
I have a great solution to a clogged pump! Just connect your 120 volt pump to the 230 volt service, or use a 120v to 230v step-up autotransformer and watch it blow the snot out of any clog! Another great idea, lbroght to you by the guy who came up with the toothbrush-strapped-to-an-electric drill retrofit.
That is insane! NEVER put more voltage into a device that is rated for far less!
@borissecluna5782 can you send me videos of exactly what you are talking about
Pump sound a little like crap At first after coil cleaner Def hard to hear you
Thank you so much for saving me a lot of money!
Thank you!
Good job👏
I have this pump and it's not pumping... what's your service area please?

Help, please. I just got my CP-22 Series Automatic Condensate Pump and swapped out the old pump for the new (same company). It was an easy install. I filled the tank to test it and turned on the power BUT the Alarm light is on and won't go off. The Power light (green) is on, the Alarm light (red) is on, and the Run light (amber) is on. But the pump won't pump. In the back of the pump I even switched the two wires at the end of the yellow wires thinking those might have been reversed. But nothing I do works. The pump is level. But it doesn't work. Let me know if I should return it to Amazon of is this a simple fix.
Try taking the yellow wires off the pump
@@MiHeatingGuy I just now tried your suggestion and the same lights are on and the pump is not working. I'll call the company tomorrow using the phone number they give. If that doesn't work I'll return it to Amazon. My HVAC installer who discovered my old pump had failed gave me an estimate of $395.85 AFTER $70 "member savings" to replace the pump. When they called about whether I wanted to accept the estimate I told them I would replace it myself. He understood and agreed it that would be a reasonable DIY project. And it should be. Thanks.
Mother in law paid $400 to have a new one installed. I need to adventure how to clean it. So far two guys $7,500 and $ 6,500 for replacement unit.
dude, THANK YOU
Best way for me was to just throw it away and buy a new one. It's not worth the headache
Nice job.
spark spark, jump.. hehe
