I actually ended up instructing this company to do the job and my tenant was gone in 4 weeks !! Can't recommend them enough. Safe to say, it put me off letting out my property for a long while :')

the place that gave u quote is trying scam holly to ..fix a head gasket does not mean replace whole engine ..head gaskets are easy to replace .and does not require a full engine swap

I like this show more than Call the Bailiffs and Can't Pay? We'll Take it Away because they show the claimant's side, and put into context how it got this far. Makes you far less sympathetic to the debtors.
These deposits are fully refundable usually as long as ypu view the car. No obligation to buy. They keep the money if you dont come down to view the car.
If the sheriffs knows the debter are agressive, they should have the police on hand. Used cars in britain are cheaper than here in Denmark. A used care over here can cost almost the same as a brand new one. Even "destroyed" cars will be sold again. My mom had her old car ruined in 2011. The mecanic would only pay a low price ofor it, abu a guy we know helped my mom. I found out, the car was fixed up and sold to someone else. It`s all a scam and i`ve learned not to trust anyone anymore.

In the US if you owe $$ you just get a bad credit score, which affects you in a bad way - even trying to rent anything. If a debt collector would show up at your door, they could be met with a gun!
