That closed down around 2020 if I remember correctly. But I loved going here as a kid around the last 2000s early 2010s after going to the Carolina Ice Palace. Definitely sad that they demolished it recently.
I live not too far from the diner in Goose Creek. It’s sad that it closed. That area is not the best. I wonder if that’s why it closed. There are several abandoned locations in Summerville as well that closed after 2020. I hope you are enjoying or enjoyed your trip to our beautiful city of Charleston. I love living by Charleston!
Awesome First Time Abandoned Denny's Classic Diner I Not Been This Place but it Was Closed Recently. Hope You Guys are Having Good Early St. Patrick's Day.
What sucks is that if videos like this one weren't here today, I probably would never see some of these unique places. Beautiful scene to see, shame for sure it's closed.
Orlando off John Young Parkway has a Dennys 24hr "diner" much like this format. It's retro style brings in crowds. The diner look stands out from the other places close by.
I worked the midnight shift at Denny's in the later 1970's. It was a hopping place then as was our relatively new mall that openned in 1970. Ours was the brown and orange and yellow interior and exterior theme, though. Sadly, this is the first one in this style i've seen. Great video. All the best to you. Adventure on.
An awesome video, Wallie! I love eating at diners! The food and service are great! I really love comfort food and diners offers that type of delicious food. I really enjoy eating dishes like hot turkey sandwiches and hot meatloaf sandwiches, both with mashed potatoes and smothered in gravy. Oh yeah!! Diners also have great pies, like apple, cherry, banana cream, coconut cream pies. Mmmmmmm!! Yes, I love to eat!! Have a Dennyslicious Day! Have a Dinerslicious Day!
Hi Wallie I hope you and Kayla and the cats 🐈 are doing good and I love ❤️ all the videos you do a amazing and awesome job on making them keep up the great work
Me and my family use to go to that location alot, its a shame it closed. I remember when it was brought in on a couple of flat bed trailers and assembled on site around 25 or so years ago.
"Questioning the safety of the area" MY GUY, YOU ARE IN NORTH CHARLESTON!! You should assume you'll get mugged until proven otherwise. fr tho, great video. I used to eat at that dennys when i was a kid.
Please watch your steps in that area of Ashley phosphate road where this dennys is located. Lots of police calls in that stretch of road the later you get into the night…
Stayed at the Country Inn & Suites there in Sept. 2019 to deliver some of my grandfather’s stuff back. Walked there with my mom for dinner. It was a hit and miss. My mom loved it. I didn’t. Hate that it closed.
To my understanding: Dennys has this retro diner style in the choices for owners if there is room, zoning. I like it but it's not smart if every town, city.
Cool to see you came to my area. I've actually ate at that Denny's back when they were in business. Not gonna lie though, I really miss when we had a Quincy's. Those cinnamon butter rolls used to be top notch. The Rasing Cane's is definitely an excellent choice as far as a chicken joint goes. They put Zaxby's to shame if you ask me. Definitely a cool video, and while I actually live in Summerville, I am familiar with the area, and especially Ashley phosphate road there. I even uploaded a video of me doing a burnout right on the other side of that taco bell with my friend that worked right there at the brakes 4 less. I also do go to Folly Beach whenever I was go to the beach. Definitely really cool man.👍👍 Heres the link.: ruclips.net/user/shortsqERVFjZgis0?si=H6_Gp_jv7GnU9-GG

Sad to say I drove by this yesterday and I think it's demolished now. I couldn't see anything on the lot.

Dude, would have been great to meet you for a quick minute here in Charleston! Enjoy the area!
Please watch your steps in that area of Ashley phosphate road where this dennys is located. Lots of police calls in that stretch of road the later you get into the night…
Exactly. That area can definitely be “problematic” on a number of levels.
Stayed at the Country Inn & Suites there in Sept. 2019 to deliver some of my grandfather’s stuff back. Walked there with my mom for dinner. It was a hit and miss. My mom loved it. I didn’t. Hate that it closed.
I love your videos Wallie. Youre so funny. ^^
Awesome 👌 video
Great video buddy! Never seen a classic looking building like that.
Great video!
Cool, I never ate there, but looked cool . 🥰
That place looks awesome
Awesome Wallie
There is an abandoned Hardee's in South Carolina that you should check out. It's in North Charleston.
Hey! I’ve past through this Denny’s a lot of times, it was open when I first saw it.. Then I saw the decline of customers there.
Never seen abaounded classic look
Lodi coffee next door is awesome!
Awesome video you were close by where I live
First time I had the Hoburrito on their late night menu circa 2008. God tier shit! So many memories here.
Rip i-26 north Charleston Dennys classic
This was my local Denny's and I ate there a few times especially because this one is only about 5 minutes away from my house
There are a few no trespassing signs on the windows.
This one has a Red Robin look.
If you are still in the Charleston area, hit up Brecks and get one of their burgers and sweet tea!
One of my good friends of mine works there
Is this the old theme wallie 0:19
Denny's slowly disappearing
I always confuse Denny's and Shoney's. Neither is all that good.
Agreed lol
90% of chain diners, places in US are ⬇️. The better run places 🍳 are $$$.
Looks like a 50's dinner..
To my understanding: Dennys has this retro diner style in the choices for owners if there is room, zoning. I like it but it's not smart if every town, city.
Hey! That's my home city! They have to close Denny's down due to people being prejudice, if I'm correct
Strange thing is that I can't remember the solgon of this restaurant
Dennys are better than ihop. A quick story my dad went to ihop years ago it gave him food poisoning we never had problems with dennys
Wonder why they closed.
Sued the franchise owner
There's a Billboard in the Background of this video.
wow
Wow
I live in sc near Charleston
WallieB26, did you get the point(from the bushes)? LOL
