I lived alone in FL for 4 years, so PB really resonated with me because it was like.. I was trapped on an Island of trash spray painted pink. It wasn't a good time at all. There was one small area I'd go to called Siesta Key. And my last drive through the island on the sea to my right- I played this... it was bitter sweet. If you're ever visiting Siesta Key I recommend playing this while walking where the water meets the land, at night. It has a nice vibe.

The first time I heard on melancholy hill I was going through a major depressive episode in my freshman year of college. I just laid on the floor and closed my eyes and it just took me somewhere else. I felt like the song understood everything in my brain and i was able to calm down. I come back to it often because I've never heard a song that makes me feel so much at once. Hope one day I can compile a bunch of music that has that specific vibe but I have a feeling this is a one of a kind type of song. Glad I found this acoustic version.
