You are possibly my favorite musical artist of all time. I've never seen another artist capture the beautiful, melancholic, nostalgic and lonely feeling that your synthwave miku songs capture. They aren't just songs that I listen to casually, they are special to me and I always feel strong emotions every time I listen to them no matter how many times I listen to them. I've spent this year doing my country's mandatory military/civil service and I've been delivering mail every night in an attempt to save a little money before going to university. I've been listening to your First Sound of The Future Past album like literally every night while working. Listening to it really hits different while driving alone in the snowy winter night and delivering mail. I don't think I've ever listened to an album this much without getting tired of it. What you've created here is truly something beautiful and it will always be the defining piece of music that reminds me of this phase of my life in the future. In 40 years I'll listen to these and they'll bring me right back to 2023 and remind me of this time in my life.

It's odd, in a way, I've not really moved far away from where I was when this song first came out. Or perhaps, I've merely come full circle: a very large circle, but still a circle nonetheless. While my own melancholy back then was brutal, and this was one of the only sources of catharsis, I made it out just fine. So to hear this song again at this time, it reminds me that I've trodden this ground before, and assures me that I will still make it out just fine.

It's such a treat to get to hear Miku cover all these old classics I grew up with. But can we take a minute to talk about how great your music is on these covers? I don't think your music gets enough love. You don't just "cut & paste" Miku's voice over the old backing tracks like she's singing karaoke, you take the time to rewrite & even reimagine the music in new ways I think are even better than the originals a lot of the time. There are all these subtle little nuances that are sorta slipped into the cracks that you might even notice unless you listen closely that compliment Miku's voice & add "personality" to the track. It's almost like it's a new song that uses the original as a springboard, instead of just a cover. A "remix," maybe? Whatever it is, I have got to listen to more stuff on your channel. If you make Miku singing New Wave this inspired, what does your original work sound like?
