This is a much better and explicit video than 1 and 5 million views videos I've seen
Looks a lot better than it did but the damaged area is so obvious to the eye. Clear difference in height. Needed more prep to ensure is was feathered into original paint
lol. This is how exactly how it looked like when I brought my car to a dealership for repair. Might as well do it on your own 😜
Good video - the totally unneccesary music was distracting though.
You have a button on your phone to lower your volume if you dont like the music.I hate how most of people like to bla bla all the time when the solution is so simple
@@catrinacatalin I actually do know where the volume knob on my speakers is. Muting the music mutes the very helpful and informative instructions.
Lmao, that is probably the best reply for this situation @@mickeymcmoore5412
Good tips here, thanks. But the music is too high in the mix here and we can barely hear you at times!
Do u put rust converter on the outside or just the back?
from what i see, the rust was not treated. it will all come back
Put it on the rust
😝
Cool vid very informative and thanks for sharing!
3 years now. How did it last?
How long this will take to do, i have rust but not as bad as that do i need a filler
most importantly you should get rid off all the rust to the bare metal, some rust prevention spray and i guess you could use a bit of body filler depending on how much you sanded and then just put fill in primer and paint
Perfect 👍👍
your music in the bakground is too loud
Your phone volume was loud and you have a button wich can lower the volume or mute🤮
@@catrinacatalin except if we do, we can't hear him talk. Don't be ignorant toward others
When you primed it 3 coats ...did you also sand it down with 600grit too? 3 times
3 months later doing it all over again
How?
@@dailydad6335 He didn't remove rust completely. Yes, he used rust reformer, BUT this doesn't guarantee full protection against rust. To remove rust correctly you have to remove rust completely
@@dailydad6335not if its sold.
And i think the fiberglass filler is also Not needed there is no hole or something to fill, if He just sanded it more to the metal then put rust Reformer on it and the normal filler is enough then ground spray and color spray
Why Bondo & Body Filler?
Since you are removing material (rust and metal) from the damaged area. Bondo and filler will fill the area back up so it matches the body lines.
İts not like he has removed alot of metal , it's kinda useless in his situation@@kasperkarlsen2316
Fiber glass cracks though
I can see with my eye that thats not a good fix
nice video. without music would've been ideal
WHY CLEAN AREA FIRST THEN MAKE DIRTY WITH SANDING..NO PIONT
Just wash so there's no mud, oil, grease with a good degreaser. Alcohol, thinner, acetone etc. You MUST remove, convert, kill all rust, inside, outside etc. Ospho, converter whatever. A small hand held spot blaster on 75 psi would've been nice to get it gone but not hurt metal or get messy.
You don't want any of that sanded into, onto the metal. It will stay and make finish crap. All this kind of work is the prep. You can paint with a used brush and roof tar but if prep is crap it won't last or look good. Anyone can paint, the magic is the prep. Do spend most time on cleaning, sanding, and getting ready for primer. After that your good. I've seen a lot of nice paint look great from 20 foot. Get up to it and you see sand scratches, dents, putty etc. That's a 50 mph automobile. looks great moving at 50 MPH. Looks like shit parked. Like the hot chick you see from behind at walmart then turns around with no teeth and a busted face. Butter face. Everything's looks good But her face. She looked great from down the aisle but get close and 360 view. Uggh
Your comment had no point! Learn to spell first ffs.
Couldn't even watch it with the loud ass music. Cant hear any of the info at points smh
There are 4 lights!
i dont think you need the alchohol mate
The rust is on the other side though.
The camera work is nauseous
yes ditch the music, can barely here you
what a good tutorial it'd be without that f@@@g annoying music in background!
Lose the music my friend...annoying so I left!
AAHHHHH THE MUSIC WHY
why are u using 2 fillers ?
Man turn that damn music off
Awful video ...
