@Diversity Dolls not necessarily. For starters, every country has its own pet care standards, and in many European countries rabbits are commonly housed outdoors. I know when I spent time in Germany I didn’t meet a single person who keeps rabbits indoors and it’s uncommon to do so. Secondly, some rabbits prefer it. I know my rabbits hate being indoors and they’re only happy outside in their outdoor enclosure. Every single person owns rabbits differently and there is no right way. I feel like people think outdoor rabbits are forgotten or left outside but that is not the case. You can still interact with them a lot but have them live outdoors. It’s perfectly safe if you have a shed or predator proof enclosure and you make sure weather is not a problem.

I've always loved rabbits and due to the housing situation i am in, i cannot keep them. But i love watching you and a few other youtubers care for theirs so i've learned a lot. I've seen more people house their rabbits indoors especially in the US but i do like the setup you have for yours outdoors for them to run around in or a DIY playpen because like you mention they get more stimulation from outdoors than inside. So great video. :)

I personally think that’s better to keep rabbits outdoors but its much more expensive, difficult and time consuming to keep healthy rabbits outside.
That’s why I always recommend people keep their rabbits inside because the majority of people won’t be motivated to go outside everyday, or invest in the proper set up and research all the precautions that need to be taken.

Hi, i have two Holland lops that lives in their own shed outside. They have multiple shelves and places to sit on, and they have a double cage they can go in and out of. The floor is full of bedding and they have a red lamp to keep them warm. I was wondering if this may be to cold. I live in Norway, so we have lots of snow outside, and their water freezes completely daily. But i am scared to move them inside. I dont want them to become sick because of the temperature differences, cause i have to keep my room pretty warm as i have my dwarf hamster there. What do you think?

Connie Coplestone Bristow It has never been a problem tho, and the majority of people in Norway have them outside. They have enough bedding to burrow in, and lots of straw to isolate. I think they should be fine outside if they have about 5°C in their house, and you put a water bowl under the heat lamp so it doesnt freeze.

I've bred and showed bunnies for years, and just lost my last bunny at 10 years old, 2 months ago, so I almost feel like she was sent to me lol. My rabbits were all fully indoors in 8 panel dog pens. We don't have proper vaccines for rabbits in the US so I don't feel safe even having them outdoors to play a lot of the time. Plus its HOTT here. Gets over 100⁰F :-(. Too spicy for a bunny.

i also have a boy rabbit on his own which i adopted on his own,i put him in a shed in a hutch for 2 days and he went CRAZY and he started biting and being really angry so me and my older brother decided to put him outside and he was living life !! when he was outside so as u said i totally agree with putting them outside.

I’m beyond happy you’ve made this video, there’s so much negativity towards keeping rabbits outdoors in this community and I believe that we really needed a more positive outlook towards it.
I’ve been looking into getting rabbits for months now (however I’m still trying to persuade my mum but I’m getting there) and I’m only aloud to keep them outside, so I really needed this.
And just to say, eventhough yes I do still live with my parents, I’m 14, I do my research constantly. I’ve been obsessed with animals my whole life however my mum isn’t a fan, she let me get gerbils, which I love so much, but they’re just not the same :(

Please don’t say that it’s a very happy life for them and if you can do it , because almost all the rabbit RUclipsrs say it’s not.
