ruined this song doing it this way! it is a deep powerful song to me, a moment to be still and let the music/song speak for its self. instead she has turned it(painfully)with her jumping come on everybody attitude, into a lively bouncey song! like its a dance tune? such a shame, it should've been a lights on the guitarist and Sharleen, on no one else, with her gripping the mike with her eyes shut. two instruments, vocals and guitar, and just blow everyone away!🎵👌 I got this on vinyl when it first came out and never seen it performed live(the original version). I'd imagined its message differently I guess. but bloody hell can she sing! what a voice.🙌
