We lost so much great
music in the 90's.
Every musician in this is top drawer. She is stunningly classy.
She was so naturally pretty! I miss this type of beauty.

I love how she wore denim in the video cause they wanted her to look pretty and feminine! Ironic that the beauty is in being herself and listening to herself.

They just don't make music like they used to. Over produced and lifeless music of today don't hold a candle, is not even in the same room as the candle, to the music of old. These where amazing muso's that can rock up and nail a song in one take. No overdubbing and autotune needed. Just incredible music

Timeless classic that could’ve easily reached no.1 today. Quality of the song shows in the fact that Sharleen doesn’t need to show off her s***uality like today’s female singers, and in fact you don’t really think about the fact that she’s woman. They’re just a great band with a great lead singer producing quality music! Love it. ❤
Fun fact if you go out and actually look for music you’ll find that there are thousands of female artists that don’t do that, you’re just closed-minded.

Texas came to Fat Sams, Dundee, early 1989, just after this gem of a debut single hit the charts & shortly before the release of the Southside album . Their look and performance were pretty much as fabulous as in this video. Wonderful time capsule.
