Fight Commentary Breakdowns blatantly fixed fight. The Chinese government, for example, are renowned for their corruption. They apparently push for some expert in traditional Chinese Martial Arts to whoop/ beat the shit outta this guy Xu Xiaodong. Fact is, Xu is correct. To fight in a full contact contest, in a cage, where there’s NOWHERE to run, or hide, and no one, except the ref, to save you, you HAVE to train for that specific environment. There’s no where to hide, and nowhere to run. There’s no way to hide or disguise the ineptness of these “masters”, and the Chinese government, amongst others, aren’t happy with how this shows up their traditional “superior” arts, for what they really are. Kicking pads and dummy’s that don’t hit back is NOT preparation for a fight with someone whom is looking to knock you out anyway they can, as fast as they can. Prime example of this argument is Bruce Lee. He was trained by the mighty Master Yip Man, but still saw that it was too slow, and too inept against other more efficient and brutal arts. Bruce looked around, and took the cream from VARIOUS arts to form his own fighting style of no style no system, just preparation to flow like water. Hence Jeet Kune Do. Let’s be right, Bruce Lee couldn’t of had a better Wing Chun Master than Yip Man, but for someone as formidable as Bruce Lee to state that traditional Chinese arts, amongst others, are too slow, too many fixed movements, transition between movements too slow in a fight, says all that there is to, to be honest. The traditional practitioners of these Chinese martial arts are butt hurt and living in a world of delusion if they think they can compete with an MMA fighter in a cage with the proper conditioning and training for a full contact fight in a cage, let alone a no holds barred street fight. Love ya channel, love what Xu Xiaodong is doing and hope he keeps doing it. The Chinese government are so upset at his showing up these alleged masters for what they really are, that they’re ruining his life, and making things very difficult for him. I hope he continues doing what he does but remains safe. After all, we hear constantly about people vanishing in China, by the secret police/army/government linked departments. Love ya channel. Please keep up the good work. Best wishes from Weezy (London) UK. Peace.

Caesar Vespasian you are right. I was just watching a video called something like “the world of fake martial arts”. Basically, I realise Chinese men/Asian men are very very weak. Their martial arts is fake. Their women prefer western men, etc. Bruce Lee and the Kung fu days did a LOT for their image. Younger than 40 cares/knows about these movies, so don’t respect kung fu. He was an overweight, mediocre fighter, yet pummelled ‘masters’. Instead of someone being able to beat him, they dropped his social credit so he’d reach the fight exhausted. Instead of praising his bravery and rising to the occasion, they destroyed his life to make him stop. I wish Joe Rogan could’ve helped him crowd fund. I realise China is very corrupt. The referee calling it a draw in front of people is likely a saving his life thing. Dude clearly won. What if he’d knocked him out!! They’d have to take a two-day ‘break’ and continue afterwards. Mwahahahahahahaha!!! That judge's commentary was priceless!!! Everybody is a winner! I have had no many conversations like that here in China. No one will ever admit they are wrong. Bu xin!
There are so many screwy fights here. Like the time my freind Marcus Waters beat Jumabieke Tuerxun with a flying armbar in an MMA fight back in 2009 in Xi'an. I was there ringside. It was awesome- but then the judges declared Juma the winner anyway. Every single fight on that card went down that way, but that was the most extreme example.

My students are police officers, prison guards and some of fought in mixed martial arts events and grappling events in Phoenix, back in the day, where I had my school. None of them have ever complained about the results. They are all still alive. I divided my methods into various categories to suit the goals of students. To my surprise everyone wanted the combat method. The first day they learned to put on a boxing wrap and hit things very hard. Then they were taught a defensive method and ground grappling. These methods and ways were ALL derived from old methods that you and so many others now ridicule. I find these fights disgusting. Even great young MMA fighters lose and get hurt and fall down, why are you so surprised and disrespectfull of all these old men and their proud old methods. There is nothing fake about it. It is great. It is the foundation culture of many wonderful people in China, Japan....etc. Why even practice if all you can get out of it is killing, fakes and hurting others? Why even call it an Art if there is nothing beautiful to learn and keep.
