I really think once you make room for another car, a proper DSM race build is needed! You have the "show" DSM, you just need one that can turn laps!

im mostly an murrican muscle guy but i'd be lying if i said i don't like these beautiful cars that ridge racers and grand turismo introduced me too when i was a kid almost 3 decades ago. This car and the R34 is one of my favorites!
Just grinding away for an ic-7 dash from haltech. Put in a haltech ecu in my 3000gt which had to remove both engine and body harness and built a new engine harness and built a body harness from scratch. Got a dual channel wideband, flex fuel, coil on plug conversion to take advantage of sequential ignition and injection. Now just looking to get a new can-bus dash and put that in. Was surprised when she fired up after all that work and the only troubleshooting i had to do to get it all to work was a broken pin to the fuel pump. Dunno why people say ole 3000gt's are un-reliable really hard to get mine to not fire up and drive lol.

@@TRSCARLETdon’t give up on the build, older cars are better built than new cars and were actually not made from cheap parts. My first vehicle was a 1st gen tacoma LX 4X4. I dumped 10k into engine/trans rebuild, suspension rebuild, speaker and bluetooth(pioneer), and other goodies. That truck drives and feels better than the new TRD pro with all the goodies. My old truck felt light and so alive, driving the new tacoma it felt sluggish and heavy and just awful. I ended buying a new car but I don’t invest money into it, im more interested in building 60s-90s cars

Did you flush trans fluid through that rsx trans? Running dry probably produced a lot of wear so you'll want to get all that out. Also a magnetic drain would help

Just a thought, E85 and letting a car park will definitely clog your fuel lines, maybe your fuel line is clogged

I was going through a whole bunch of vids, and cant find where you switched from a half radiator to a full rad. Is it still getting hot, especially if idling?
Yes. If I let idle for too long the temps reach around 215f. Driving it stays around 180

I thought you used all 3g shifter and cables when you went AWD???
I honestly don’t remember 100%. Even then, the shifting had always been an inconvenience for the swap

ppl talk trash about advance and auto zone cause of the elcheapo add ons cosmetic they push but they forget how legit they can be with parts depending and rental tools. lol they were able to get my shit where the big bad money making shop in town could get it for months hahahaha beside some of the shifters like the metal led light up shift nob fool of holes cheese greater when in the sun is low key dope hahahaha
