Great presentation of hearing loss, and Weber's and Rinne's can be somewhat tricky to evaluate but the way you put it simplified it nicely. You made me wish that i had a tuning fork to perfom such tests 😊
The hard part is always finding a tuning fork!

Ive always had issues hearing, I was told i was tone def in HS. I have recently bought my first pair of ear buds, and have realized my hearing turns off when i move my head or yawn.
Audioneuropathy (ASD) is not listed for sensorineural.
Why you didn't mentioned viral infection ie mumps as one of the main cause of sens hearing loss.

Yeah, not to mention genetics. I was diagnosed in my early 40s but have been failing hearing tests since elementary school. We recently found out my mom has it, and we've suspected our daughter also has it since ABR showed a slight bowing on her audiogram at 20 months that has slowly gotten more pronounced over the past five years. She still only has about a 30 db loss and doesn't notice it yet. I just found out the hearing aids I've been trying out and that we were told would be covered by insurance is not covered, so I have to stop using them after almost a month. I didn't notice it much before I had HAs, and having to give them back now is devastating. I wish I had never gone to the audiologist in the first place.
I am still searching for the problem of hearing loss caused suddenly due to relentless blowing of nose. Can blowing of nose cause permanent hearing loss? No specialists have diagnosed this problem. what could be the cause of loss of hearing and how it turned to be inner hearing loss?
i had the weber test done and i couldn't hear the sound at all, what does that mean exactly ?

You'll need to turn the volume up. I refused to admit my old ears are failing 😊
It’s funny how I can see ear, nose, throat specialist and travel 2 hrs and sit in office and not one of these tests was talked about or given, that’s what happens when you are 68 and people just going through the motions, I lost hearing in left ear suddenly overnight and rings a little, once in a while hearing seems to get a little better, then goes back to nothing almost

I met with a doctor already, but he Said nothing is wrong with my ears. Yet, I can't hear clearly and it's becoming worse daily. Is there anything else I can do?
Go back to the docter or find a another docter
I too went to a doctor and he told me there is no problem with your ear
But in reality my hearing is weak
My right ear can't hear anything.. I already did 3 hearing test and the ENT didn't tell me which condition i suffer now the refer me to audiology.. i am confused
Get hearing test done by the audiologist. They'll tell you
You need to get the audiometry test done first

No wonder you are confused I wish you from bottom of my ❤ to find good doctor who will care, no matter what and help to find the reasons GOD bless you!!! I had otitis, lost hearing I had surgery and now I have malformation DAVf in my head complications and I’ve a been left alone with no help from doctors. Wish you Help I never got… and I don’t have money for a bribe.
