You planned your travel journey really detailed and & perfectly organized. I hope all your expectations have been satisfied. Writing & drawing in your own style gives you a big advantage when it comes to thinking and remembering which could be important especially when your not at home.
Currently in South Korea, in Yongin, approx. 1hr away from Seoul. You're video makes me want to buy that notebook, it's very aesthetically inclined. Lots of beautiful things in Korea for sure! Girl version of the video: talk about personal things, irrelevant to the viewer, but that is what makes it special if one wants.
I'm going through and watching all of your videos because they're so awesome! I also live in AZ and am planning to move to Korea so I'm excited to see your TN and inspirational set up and travel tips!
+Giddy & Giggly Yay, another AZ neighbor! I hope to have some more videos soon! Thank you so much for watching and for all of your support (here and on IG). It is much appreciated! Best of luck with the move to Korea! So lucky!
So I enjoyed your setup but I'm looking for the follow up to this video. I'm traveling to Germany for a month and would love to see how yours turned out.
This notebook can definitely hold a lot if setup in the right way. If you plan on visiting New York, New York, stop by the Kinokuniya bookstore. They sell midori products there.
Enjoyed your video so much and just subscribed. The peek into your things you wanted to do on vacation was really cool and your set up was inspiring and gave me new ideas for my own notebook. I'm happy to have found you and anxious to see your other videos. :)
Great setup! I hope you're having a good time in Korea! I heard there's a mers scare going around there.. I hope all is ok!! I love the idea of bringing thank you cards!! :):) thanks for sharing :)
Thank you, Mits! Yes, I'm a little nervous about the breakout, but hopefully staying on Jeju Island will keep me at safer distance. I truly appreciate your thoughts and support!
With all the "fauxdori" choices out there today, it's been absolutely agonizing, trying to decide between the authentic midori and the rest of them....I keep coming back to the original, though. Mainly I want to use it for sketching, light journaling...
Hi! Great video! I'm thinking about getting a Midori and noticed that your passport size is a little bit of a lighter brown... I am wondering how I can get a lighter brown one, or do the colors vary with each one?
+Retro Christmas Chic Traveler's Notebook is coming out with their camel color again, so you may be able to purchase one from online shops. This particular one was the 5th year Star Edition, and yes, it is a lighter color than the regular brown. They also sell a black and dark blue colored notebook.
+Aanchal Shetty You can find them online, especially through Amazon. Just type in "midori traveler's notebook" and I'm sure you'll find online stores that carry them. :)
They're both the midori inserts. These were both purchased at a bookstore, but I'm sure you're able to purchase these where midori items are sold, including online. The ones in my notebook currently are #005 and #002.
Nice to see your choice of inserts and how you set it up. Way too much time watching your fingers caress or point out the front or even blank pages of the notebook.
"Live" octopus? As in: eating an animal while it's still alive?! That sounds cruel. That aside: very helpful video, as I'm just planning our vacation to France. Thanks for the tips!
+Ju La The octopus is actually dead but when the Soy sauce is poured the salt reacts with the tentacles making it move. So is basically a weird way of eating raw octopus

I love your setup! I still don't have folders and zip pockets to stuff things inside. Hehe. Also, my Midori cover is the same as yours, well-loved.
I plan on going to New York on november, seriously thinking about getting this journal for that trip, it looks lovely! :)

Love it 😍 cant wait to go to Korea. Definitely on my bucketlist! What do you think about my travel journal process when i was in singapore?
How did you insert the plastic folders and things? I just got one and im not sure how you add things to it :) love your videos!!
The clear pocket was setup first, then both journal inserts were then added on top, which are bound by a midori band.
So cool! Where did you get your dashboard for the front of your notebook?

That aside: very helpful video, as I'm just planning our vacation to France. Thanks for the tips!
+Ju La Actually, now looking back....it does sound cruel... :(
+Ju La I never did try the octopus (thank goodness) :)
+Joseph Kelly I'm less opposed eating animals that have been killed before being served. Yes.
+Ju La The octopus is actually dead but when the Soy sauce is poured the salt reacts with the tentacles making it move. So is basically a weird way of eating raw octopus
Ju La murder is always cruel
