I’d still rather pick up bottles of 1910 & 1920 before paying $120+ for one bottle of 1924.
Fair enough, they are all good, just different experiences. I think the 1924 should really be $80-90

thanks. was wondering where the cc100 placed. i think thats a great bottle for the price. i’ve heard rumors it may be discontinued :-(
The 5 members of my whiskey club just blinded 1924, 1920, President’s Choice, and Cooper’s Craft 100. All 5 of us easily put 1924 in last place out of the 4 bottles. Just wild how different everyone’s palettes and preferences are in the whiskey world.

Jack Daniels 12-year (batch 2) is probably the best bottle I was able to get so far this year...got it for just slightly above MSRP
That Heaven Hill 18 is a wonderful catch and one I missed on in 2024😅. Let's hope I find it years later you did on the four roses LE 2022 😆.

I recently picked up a 130.8 proof OFSBBS rye and it is ridiculously delicious
I chanced on a Hard Truth sweet mash single barrel, store pick rye. It is great. I'd be willing to drive the two hours back to the store if I thought that they had any left. TonyB
Honestly, my favorite so far this year is a Buffalo Trace single barrel store pick I ran across ... its like sipping a Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie with cherry jam in the middle.

Those are really tasty. Price depends on the batch/version/age so hard to say. We have an 8yr single barrel Rare Perfection and it is amazing!

Incredible bottles on both list. And the years only half over. For myself I haven’t gotten any unicorns but have really enjoyed the following: Backbone Bourbon Estates, Smokeye Hill BP, Bourbon Junkies EverNorth Spirit Walker Batch 2, and favorite Kluke Keenan Batch 2023
Those are all some sleeper bottles!

With all due respect we’re loosing interest in the channel with bottles that most, if not all of us, will ever see or be able to afford to buy! Please revisit the real world that most of us live in or “unsubscribe” is a clear option for us.
Totally understand what you are saying and appreciate your openness. Honestly we do a variety of content. We try to meet the needs of everyone. Some people like to hear reviews of special bottles. Some travel and find these bottles. We found many in Kentucky on our own. Sorry if that isn’t what you are looking for in a whiskey channel. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Not a month ago you will find a 6 iconic budget bottle video not sure you saw that one.
