If you guys are putting it on the door it would be a good idea to put your ribbon on first in the middle of the wreath to hang it up onto the Door x lovely colours.
Just a helpful tip from someone who made many of these: Double up with your glue when using hot glue with a secondary glue (E600, etc.), especially if you are going to store this in a non-climate-controlled location like a shed, attic, or storage unit and want to use this for multiple years. The heat and humidity caused too many of my balls to fall off, and it was difficult to repair. Nice job, ladies!
I'd agree with the e6000 glue. I tried making this by glu the blubs straight in foam and DO NOT DO THIS they all fell off...😢 Using the red ribbon as a base to attach the blubs makes sense! I will try this again with wrapped ribbon!
My daughter and I were inspired by your mother/daughter team. We made a beautiful wreath for her room this weekend. Bought 100 ornaments for $15 at Marshalls!! It looks lovely and we spent about $25. Thank you!
I'm so glad I found you ladies, I was going through my Christmas ornaments and I have so many balls and I don't use them , so I said I was going to make them useful and make a wreath ... Thank you so much
@Master Chief Thank you Master Chief, that's so very nice to say, I really appreciate that too! It's coming up on 2 years now since mom passed and it has been so horribly hard! I think about her all the time, it just doesn't seem possible. We were so close, if I didn't call mom mom would call me and this was every day and we would talk for hours some days. It's just not right!! Thank you again for your comment and compassion Master Chief. 🖒🖒
@@sabrinaharris6538 Thank you Sabrina for your heartfelt condolences about my mom passing, I really do appreciate that, you are truly kind! First time to your channel I liked & subscribed. I've been feeling a little depressed lately with Covid-19 and being laid off from Disneyland after 20 year. So this really made me Happy about the Holidays. Thank you for sharing your beautiful wreath.
Twenty years at Disney. I’m sure it wasn’t all roses but no matter your job there you had a part in bringing people together and smiles to so many people. Thank you. 💕
I think using all sizes are fantastic. Especially the tiny ones. Fill ins are great. It's a beautiful wreath!! I think the most prettiest wreaths are the ones that has all size ornaments. This is one of the most prettiest wreaths, I've seen. LOVE it!!
You ladies are so lovely and patient, thank you for your tips on making amazing ornaments for our homes, Christmas is by far my favorite holiday and y’all just made it a bit better this year 🙏❤️
I found this tutorial so helpful and made my own last year. It turned out great but after a few weeks hanging the winter furnace air did a number on it. Balls falling off almost daily by the end even though I thought I was being super liberal with the hot glue. As someone else suggested Im going to try and use a second form of glue on top of the hot glue this year and hope for a better result. It really did turn out amazing and I want to get good enough at this to possibly gift them to people, but want to make sure the ornaments stay on first!
I love this wreath l always wanted to make one. I didn't realize how easy it is. I am kicking myself now for throwing away ornaments that had a little dent in them.
I love you videos the crafts yall do are so classy and high-end but I do think sometimes it seems like if one of you is working the other is just standing there with nothing to do. I think it would be really neat if yall both did the same project but different versions at the same time. I would love to see that! Thanks for all the beautiful craft ideas ladies!
These ornament wreaths are so fun! Happy to learn about the glue skillet, will be much faster than a glue gun. Thanks for the video, can't wait to start!
Pretty cool ladies. One more craft to do...my husband will be thrilled. 😊😉 He built me a light weight table that I can set up easily anywhere since my craft room has no workable space right now. Full of lots of completed projects.
This video keeps me inspired. Thank you! After wrapping the foam base I attach two pipe cleaners one inch apart and then loop them together to hang on a wreath hanger. You can purchase wreath hangers to hang them on doors or windows from the dollar tree store. The glue pot and sticks I ordered from Amazon! Happy Holidays
@@jessicaquesenberry9257 hi you can double up the pipe cleaners. The ones I use are the tinsel kind. Also you can attach a zip tie vertically and another one underneath horizontally. I use the 6 inch size and cut according to length. I do this before I glue the balls. Remember the shattered proof balls are lighter than glass balls. Do not use glass balls for safety reasons👌
@@s.romero2934 sorry to keep on bothering you but if you wanted to use a wreath hanger on that could you just use the wreath hanger with it or do you have to add the zip ties or pipe cleaners
What a wonderful video ladies. I normally buy my wreaths because the thought of making one intimidates me. I'm not in the least bit 'crafty' but deeply admire people like yourselves transform a stunning wreath from basic and inexpensive materials. I'm wondering though, is the glue gun imperative? If there is a glue that's not used with a glue gun, which stuff do you recommend? Wishing you and your loved ones a happy weekend from Luxembourg. xx P.S. I absolutely adore your accent.
I love your channel! It is so heartwarming to see a mother and daughter team doing crafts together and you work so well with each other. I LOVED this wreath and thought I could make one too. I did my best at it and the front looks good but the back is an awful mess! Glue everywhere in globs. I did use a glue pot as you do but the back of the wreath just was bad. I was disappointed because I wanted to make and sell these in a boutique. I have collected shatterproof ball ornaments for years for this project and have bins and bins of them. So my question is, how do you keep it neater on the back? Is there anything I can do to make it better on the back now to make it more sellable?
Felt! Put a felt ring backing cut to size to hide the mess. Would be good for protecting walls and doors to stop the scratching if the wreath swings a little. Would hold water if it got rained on though.
I made this wreath and the amount of glue I used was unbelievable and I'm still worried they aren't secure enough to hang. Do you use any kind of finishing spray?
Hi girls! You are so precious! Thank you for sharing. I had been trying to figure out how to make one of these without string or wire. I've made a few with ribbin ribbon & a tinsel garland. Can't wait to try this one! How would you hang it?
If you guys are putting it on the door it would be a good idea to put your ribbon on first in the middle of the wreath to hang it up onto the Door x lovely colours.
I was wondering how it got hung.
this!!!!! i've watched all these shows and none of them say this. now i've made my wreath and struggling how im gonna hang it
I made one this evening...all dollar tree ornaments, glue gun, foam wreath and ribbon. So cheap and not difficult at all!
How much did you end up spending
@@tandatoys902 probably less than $10
Oh ok thanks for replying so fast have a great day

That glue dipping bowl is freaking awesome. I never saw that before
I saw that spent an hour on google trying to find it 🤣 i too am amazed!
You can use an electric candle warmer 😉 @ Renny Lewis

Hello so use hot glue combined with the other glue??
I hope you figured it out, but, yes, use a bit of the E6000 next to your hot glue.
Or if you live in an area that stays hot all year.

Love the ball ornament wreath! All the possibilities of colors are dancing in my head. So how do you hang it up?
IMHO you should put a wired ribbon loop on it before you put too many balls on!
I took a fairly large binder ring, opened it, punched it through the foam, then closed it once it was in pretty deep. Worked great!
Absolutely fabulous! You’ve inspired me to create one🎄
