- Today I'm making 6 of my favorite winter holiday Christmas Wreaths. I'm using mostly Dollar Tree supplies for each wreath diy and all 6 will make a beautiful accent to your winter home decor. One of my favorites is the Santa Gnome Wreath and I used a recycled fabric curtain along with the Dollar Tree supplies and I also love my Christmas Pine Cone Wreath because I used pine cones from my own yard. I hope you enjoy watching me make them and even try to diy one or two of them yourself.
** Before you use your pine cones (if they are from your yard and sappy) ~ Place them on a foil lined cookie sheet and bake them in your oven for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees. This should dry the sap and any little critters hiding inside. Be sure to not over dry them, they will become brittle and fall apart. :(

@June Metcalfe Hi June 💓 I think I used about a roll and a half (Dollar Tree burlap) or so, but you can use anything you have on hand to cover the wire form 🎄🎅 as long as the hot glue will attach to it. 🌞

I would buy the Santa gnome in a minute but don’t have the talent or patience to do it myself. I love it!
All were very beautiful but my favorite was the Sànta and the pinecone one. I made the fall gnome using a Dollar tree witches hat so will definitely make the Sànta.
I want that pine one wreath. I never thought of using just the pine ones in colors. Love it. ✌️

Try Walmart, they often have bags of cinnamon scented pinecones! Or any public park or lake area w plenty pine trees!
Amazon sell them in bulk, quite cheap too!
Are there pines in your park? Maybe in a neighbor's yard? You'd be surprised how many people will just let you take them when they know what you're doing.
Go to a park where evergreens are
I loved knome wreath plus the pine cone. They were my favorites but all were sensational!!!!

Love it! I, too, love the pinecone wreath but I don't have such easy access to the pinecones here in Texas. Most of our pinecones are short and squatty. But I love the Santa gnome. You really have some talent!
Short story: years back (1960's) my mother, ahead of her time and very talented, made a 6-foot pinecone Christmas tree using chicken wire. It sat in our "picture window" (remember those?) with nothing but a spotlight and silver balls. People would stop on the street to admire. Of course, we teen kids at the time just rolled our eyes at our "weird" mother! LOL Sadly, I didn't inherit her talent or innovative ideas. So I look to people like you for guidance. Take care!
That's such a sweet story about your mom (I miss mine) and I would have been one of those people staring at the 6 FT Tree in the window trying to figure out how she made it, LOL! I live in a pine forest and have so many pine cones. . .I heard some things crashing in the woods earlier and my husband told me they are falling everywhere off the trees and to be careful hahaha! I think you could make a similar wreath with the little pine cones, I used some of the little ones to make a sign a few videos ago. Beautiful pine cone wreath. I live surrounded by forest, so I'm sure I can get some pine cones collected for this. I like things natural, so I think I'll leave them natural, but with a dusting of white to look like snow. Heck, may do one colored and one plain. Free material,so why not? Both are so beautiful. The pine cone wreath is lovely. First time seeing. The buffalo wreath is very nice as well. Let it snow wreath is my favorite. The turquoise is my accent color in my home. Very good wreath decors. Dollar tree is an awesome place for crafts.
