    This is something what I would have for breakfast or tea.

    Hi Sweetie .theres only one thing left to say about this fantastically delicious recipe.its fantastically delicious lol.its my birthday today and I wanted to make myself something special that I have not ever eaten and there it was.the perfect dessert a true swiss roll. And the only lady that can make it taste it's best is my hero.my mentor....this was great after my lobster dinner.with ceaser salad and blue cheese and creamy garlic sause dressing that I make from the wooded area that I have.every yr about this time I have a wooded area that grows wild garlic and wild scallions sorta red and white in color very mild flavor.... Anyways .I picked a handful to make my one and only blue cheese garlic scallion sauce. That I also use for a good thick binder for the smoker. Enough about steaks. This was fantastically delicious thank you so much for letting all of us into your kitchen. You will always be my hero and my mentor...I will forever be your fan and subscriber for life!!...Ps I turned a ripe old age of 55.

    Hi Tatyana. Swiss Roll was a staple of Sunday Teatime when I was a kid - always been a favourite. This looks like a massive upgrade and I'll give it a go soon 👍

    Tatyana if you add vegetable oil and little bit of milk in the batter you dont have to roll it hot, it can cool down and will still roll up nicely 😉

    cant wait to make this soon for me for the frosting can i use vegan cream cheese and coconut cream i never had pistachio raspberry swiss roll cake with whipped cream before prerfect for my after office snacks

      Thank you! I've used a Kitchen Aid mixer by entire life - my mom had one and I'm on my second one now! The copper one I have is sold at Williams Sonoma.

      Hope you enjoy it! Yes, you can bake it the night before. Just roll it, let it cool, then wrap it in plastic when rolled.

      Yes, sponge cake works best for swiss roll cakes. Other types of cakes will be very hard to roll

    Tatyana, incredibly easy. I just made it but substitute the berries to 🍓 because this is what I have. Nonetheless love your step by step instructions. My cake came out beautiful too. 😊👍🌸🌺💞🌸💐💐

    I tried making this today.
    It tastes wonderful!
    Only issue is the cake broke into pieces. I carefully rolled it when it was still hot.
    What did i do wrong that made it break?

      I'm so glad you enjoyed the cake!
      The cake can break for a few reasons. Try rolling the cake extra, extra carefully and unroll it very gently. Also, make sure to not overfill the cake as this will cause it to break when you roll.

    Since me and my husband are allergic to nuts including pistachios, could we replace the pistachios with chocolate crumbs instead, or make the chocolate cake too? it sounds really delicious but for us, it's without the nuts! thanks for sharing...

    Should the cake be wrapped in plastic wrap if refrigerated overnight before serving? How to do that without ruining the outside frosting and the piped decorations?

      No, there's no need to wrap it in plastic since it's already frosted. I would make sure that your fridge doesn't have any strong odors, such as garlic or onion. Otherwise, it should be fine :)

    Good Day Chef. You had me at Pistachio. As always yum X's 1000. Around here in Amish Land the big thing is Pumpkin Rolls, almost every market carries it in some form. I would love to see you make the Jelly Roll desert, I think it's called a Charlotte Royal.? Where you line a bowl with plastic wrap and slice a Jelly Roll and put it in the bowl with the jelly visible fill it with some chocolate mousse and a sponge cake bottom. Please give me an opinion on this, I'm going to try for the first time making a Root Beer float Cheesecake. I found some A+W rootbeer syrup, now would you recommend making the whole cheesecake rootbeer and serving a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side or making a layer of vanilla cheesecake on top.? My friend is going to run your citrus, arugula salad as an occasional special as soon as the deck on the restaurant opens. Thanks for another yummy masterpiece 😋.       Hmm, I like the idea of adding some vanilla ice cream on top! I usually go with whipped cream but ice cream would be perfect!!

      @@TatyanasEverydayFood Hi again Chef, I actually asked my friend and he said to put the vanilla on top of the cake so his staff doesn't have to bother. It's very difficult to get qualified staff around here, I'll leave it at that and be polite. He is trying to sell his restaurant because operating costs are skyrocketing.     Hello I baked the cake but it broke when I rolled for the 2 round. Also, I have a question after beating the cream cheese and add the remaining ingredients it started to get liquidity not thick what do you think could be the problem???

      Hi Sandra! I'm so sorry the recipe didn't work perfectly for you. The cake can break when rolling the second time if there is too much filling. Try not to overfill the cake; you can always add more on top.
      Was your cream cold? Also, the cream cheese needs to be just slightly softened. Perhaps the mixture wasn't cold enough?
