If the remaining lessons are anything like Lesson 1, then this class is a bargain. Debbie’s content was excellent, sharing tips, tricks and keyboard shortcuts. The handouts and videos made by you are well organized with all the ingredients to be successful. Thank you!
Yes you do. Go to the settings button (gears icon) I believe on a 770 with the small screen you have to select the little house button and then the gears. Choose the embroidery hoop icon The thread away is a needle with side to side arrows. If it is red, that means it is off. Touch it to turn it on.
Gayle, I downloaded the trial 9V Software. Seems way too complicated for me, but I tried a simple label and added some text. I cannot seem to transfer the design to my 790 Pro because with the trial version, I have no connector. Does this mean I cannot add purchased designs to my machine without special software? Sorry if I am confusing, but I really am comfused.
@@milliecorcoran4663 you will need to transfer with a USB stick. We have a design transfer video for that. The pro can do WiFi with the purchased software and also USB transfer.
@@milliecorcoran4663 I recommend you work with your local dealer to find the best fit for software. And yes, you can use any purchased designs that are downloaded on your B 790 Pro using the BERNINA software.
Thanks for your quick response. I did try using a USB but, perhaps I didn't do it right. I will review the video you mentioned and try again. BTW, I absolutely love your videos. You have a very engaging personality. Thanks again. Millie

Perfect complement to the Software Building Blocks class. Thanks Gayle.
Gayle, these directions are the best I’ve seen. Thank you so much. Sue
Thanks, Gayle. It was at the start confusingly very different to previous Bernina set up I've used

@@BERNINAofNaperville Thank you! I wasn't sure I'd signed up in time to get the files for the first lesson.
I want to make this for my boyfriend. Can I sign up in a week or so after I learn the material I need for the time for 9?
Yes, you can sign up anytime
