Fact Man is my hero. You should make a movie about him. Avengers will cry.
I bet that fact man didnt come in cheap.
“Oh yeah I’m in a band”
“Cool what instrument do you play”
“Oh no I’m the *fact man*
It's amazing how much you can do on drums, they effectively carry the song!
allan's an awesome drummer, great video thanks.
The intro were they set up the drum set is just awesome
Hey, it's the drummer from Postmodern Jukebox!
These videos must require such intensive comping and rehearsal. Respect and gratitude!
This is why I love music. It brings everyone together.
Drummer: i play drums.
Girl: so you didn’t have any skill, and wanted to be in a band?
Guitarist: **plays smoke on the water intro**
Girl:**visually impressed**
Ludvig Nilsson, from various comments around guitar videos. Its a joke that anyone who doesn’t have enough skill to play an “actual” instrument has to play the drums so that they can be a part of the band. Im saying it’s a stereotype, and i dont agree with it. I was making a joke out of it so that we can all laugh at our insecurities.
@Ludvig Nilsson Yeah I think the bassist stereotype is that they're useless and the drummer stereotype is that they're dumb
Can we all agree that the drummer and the guitarist are the coolest fucking guys of the band
@@duonelaitis8012 sorry, but even from a drummers perspective, the bass is undoubtedly the coolest instrument
@@duonelaitis8012 Gotta agree with mitoky here, man. The bassist don't need that epic guitar solo or that crazy drum fill to sound cool.
I'll never take a drummer for granted ever again!!!
Sold my kit 5 years ago after 13 years of playing. I still miss it everyday...
why did you do this?
History of HAMMOND ORGAN AND HARMONICA
Gotta love what this guys are doing, just taking music from the puddle of mudd where it´s right now and put it back to the castle where it deserves to be.
This drummer is so good with the rythm!!! Everyone in ur videos are so talented and I love these history of instrument vids. Keep it coming CDZA :)
This instrumentals series is epic, I love it.
MORE! These are so much fun!
This is SO incredibly amazing. Absolutely love the tunes.
If the fact man genuinely smiled ONCE... just once, it would make my day.
great things ,but why you ignore the metal period when they use the double kick
They never mention metal in any of these videos. Guess they think they're too good for it
DEATH METAL
@@lt-yx1hx everyone is too good for metal, it fucking sucks
@@leonardo9259 that's not true for metal as a whole
@@leonardo9259 don't talk shit about a genre you don't listen to
I love this series.
Of course! You absolutly right. The bass is a totaly underratet instrument!
Someday , my favorite instrument . Rock on !
I would love to hear CDZA covers 15 step in a more fleshed out set
Alan is one of the greatest drummers. Love his work with Scott Bradlee
Ooh yes. Recognising every song is very satisfying :)
I approve! This is about what I learned in a year rolled into a short video.
I love this. I wish all learning was as easy and interesting!
been playing drums for 6 years and i still sat through the entire video
This is so good jazz and drums are my mucical passion so this was fantastic
always nice to see the bass player rockin it out in the back lul
You guys are awesome. Thank you.
i really appreciate what CDZA is doing
Ive been playing for a bit as well but never had lessons or anyone show me what the different times actually were. I definitely just learned what the different time signatures were!
god i love these - very reminiscent of blue man group, the way the break down rock history and concerts. i always read the "fact man" text in the blue man group announcer voice in my head.
lovin these episodes
I enjoyed that so much, I wanted it to keep going!
You guys ended with 15 steps?!! That's my favorite song of all time!! Couldn't go to bed any happier.
Couldn't stop my head bopping
Love this kind of videos
Really love this series! Really wish this video was longer though - involved double bass technique and maybe touched on more extreme styles like hardcore punk and metal.
Keep it up CDZA!
Love you guys; had a bad day and come home - see this in my feed, and all is good in the world :)
CDZA this is possibly is best thing you done, entertaining, informative and REALLY makes me want to start learning how to play instruments
I can not say why, but I love the sound of cymbals in this video. It is just awesome.
And oh, it needs more cowbell.
That was awesome! Very well put together and very entertaining, thank you for all of the effort you put in to this video, I am looking forward to watching your other videos as well. Keep up the great work!
Great job! Very interesting and funny, this is the right way to teach!

Thank you for this awesome video!
and again, I'll be changing my lesson plans for the week.
I am so saddened that CDZA hasn't done a new video in years!
Loving these videos! Could play most of the guitar solos/riffs on last one! This one was interesting! Bass, piano and saxaphone next please? Thanks!
Amazing work!!!!
Excellent video and superb job by Allan!!
Let's finish this epic series with the fact man guys
that whole intro was so cool
waiting for this so long!!!!!
I love CDZA more every time you release another video... Keep it up!
It's never too late!
can't wait for the piano!!
I'm loving the instrumental videos!!! I'm seeing like 4 times each video! Please make more.
This was awesome. Thx!
Awsome...as always...
Also, love the Fact Man!!!
He cracks me up without saying a word..
Love CDZA, this one's no exception. I would also recommend Steve Smith's DVD "History of the US Beat." He goes through a very involved demonstration of the drum set's evolution.
can't wait to see bass
This is excellent, nice job y'all
I'm from New Orleans so I enjoyed this video
Marvelous!!
I miss Allan. The only time I see him is when I watch early PMJ and when I start searching YT to see what he's up to.
i love the fact man !!!!!
This is the best intro
This one deserves a sequel.
I like it!!!
Absolutly respect, guys, thx very much for Your video.
cool video, i like the way allen moves his head.
Love these videos. You guys have to make a piano one! It's changed so much over the years!!
the cymbals is what makes Jazz....
The reason why you didn't like the cymbals is because maybe his swing didn't please your ear enough or the cymbals were too bright.
But for the fact that this group of musicians did so many songs within 4 minutes is amazing.
this is awesome!
I was waiting for YYZ but it didn't happen.
true
pretty fucking impressive performance right there. No cuts, are you kidding me?
FACT MAN!!!
cool video had to watch it
cooool!!! i love it!
Bass really needs to be done next. Putting aside the acoustic upright and it's massive impact, the electric bass in 60 years of existence has evolved beyond what anybody could have thought. It went from a simple support/rhythm instrument to a complex and expressive support/melody hybrid. All the slapping and tapping, and nowadays you even have piccolo bass players who put guitar-gauge strings on their bass. People are doing some crazy things with this instrument!
Fact Man kills it again
Awesome!
you guys are great
Cant wait for bass episode
They used to hold the left stick different back in the old days. They never mention that. In the early sixty's I was taught the old style grip. I was a horrible player as a kid so I switched to playing guitar. Which I still enjoy as a hobby in my 50's. All kids should have the opportunity to play some kind of music.
Fact man is back!
Bass!!!! love these videos :)
