No offence, but this video kind of blows. ...Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all night. *takes a bow while expertly dodging tomatoes and rotten eggs thrown by the audience*
I've never been able to whistle, so you have my great admiration for doing this. No whistling along from me. I don't know any music after 1988, so the omission of "Winds of Change" by the Scorpions means nothing to me. However, I was expecting the 1967 hit "I Was Kaiser Bill's Batman" by Whistling Jack Smith.
You people are amazing and inspiring and creative and everything I love about music! Thanks for sharing your talent and I can't wait to see what comes next.
How does he get so much vibrato on his whistles? I assume by sliding his tongue back and forth, but that's really hard if you want a tight series of notes. He's too good.
I know it's an experiment, but I'm really touched by it anyway... it's just beautiful! I really love your videos, I saw all of them multiple times, because I can :D
it's the people behind the channel, they are covered in a thick layer of awesomesauce and so everything they do will be covered in thick layers of awesome residue, so that kinda makes everything awesome
I love your 'History of' videos! I'm actually acquiring knowledge from this! now i know what's the tune i always hear, called. Hope to see more 'History' videos! (:
I just realized this is one of the few videos cdza has made that go through history, but as the songs get more modern, the loveliness of whistling is still there :) no perverted, boring, or slow urban music, just beautiful melodies.
the countless times ive sat there with no other intention but to whistle. ive literally sat there for hours trying to learn how to whistle and the best i could do was a small wisp sound

All I can think as I watch this is how crazy this would drive Sheldon Cooper.

Oh yeah!
This is why I love you guys, you introduce me to so much stuff I never heard of and if it weren't for you, I'd probably never would.
you don't have to go vibrato for EVERY NOTE!
He did anyways and you know why?! 2 Reasons:
1) Because!
2) He can!
I'm noticing a distinct lack of All Star by Smash Mouth
That's some BADASS whistling
WHY IS EVERYTHING ON THIS CHANNEL SO AWESOME
There's a few missing songs, come on, where's winds of change by Scorpions, joyride by Roxette, angel by Rammstein or whistle by Flo Rida.
I've watched everything on this channel. You are all awesome, keep being so.
Great job, but how can you have a whistling video without Andrew Bird?
We need an update!
No offence, but this video kind of blows.
...Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all night. *takes a bow while expertly dodging tomatoes and rotten eggs thrown by the audience*

I personally do it by pushing my lips and making the gap smaller. Smaller spaces in my mouth will cause a higher pitch.
To a person who can't whistle, this is freaking amazing.
Where's "Joyride" by Roxette & "Wind of Change" by Scorpions?
I love the guy on the cello, and his tie. His suit is just dashing.
my bird loves it!
This is awesome.. you need to make another one
