This is the video that sold me on this channel. Anyone can be an expert for a 5 minute video, but her knowledge is ridiculously impressive. Not scripted and not recorded in a thousand takes. Well done! Subscribed!

Just watching this today. Agree with you! She is so natural and easy to listen to. Very knowledgeable and she doesn’t have any hesitation in her voice. I found her channel last year while looking for advice on hydrangea. Because she is comfortable in front of the camera she makes it comfortable to listen to. I found some channels with people who are offering good advice, but don’t speak as well. They seem nice, but hard to listen to someone who is not fully prepared for an audience. They speak too much “ off the cuff”.

Thank you Mom and Dad for providing your daughter a safe and beautiful haven growing up and rubbing into her what garden can do to the personality of a person. I Was taken by her exuberance and pride showing her childhood happy life. She mentioned her parents so many times in this video -;proof of her love and respect towards her Mom and Dad. If only all parents can provide such tranquility and beauty for their children then war in this world will be eradicated. Congratulations!

What a joy to see your parents property but also the love you have for your upbringing. Video was excellent Aaron, loved the overhead shot...beautiful. Laura, I'm in love with your mom's garden. I garden just like her. I have pathways with surprises and interests around its curves. I've always been a romanticist gardener. A little hard when you have only sons and your husband. They're not the least bit interested in weeding. Haha. Thank your mom and dad for letting us enjoy their garden. What a treat!

I'm so sorry for your loss! I remember all the plans and hopes when I was engaged and I can't imagine having them all be dashed in such a way. My heart is hurting for you.
I'm so glad you are beginning to see daylight and hope for tomorrow. Spring has a way of doing that and so does Laura. Her love of life and plants and such is infectious.
I'll be praying for you. God has a plan for you. Romans 8:28 is my go to verse when something bad happens. In case you don't know this verse, it says:
For we Know that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord, the called, according to His purpose.
God can and does take the worst of circumstances and somehow in ways that only He can, turns them around for good. One day you will look back on this time with a bitter/sweet feeling and know that as hard as this was, God made a way and somehow it is even better.
For now, know that all the praying ppl who see this are praying for you. There is not in the morning and spring does bring eternal hope.
      Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
      Amen!

Thank you for this wonderful inspiring video! Last night at 11pm we had a tremendous wind storm ( Ketchum, ID). We had four 80 year old magnificent spruce trees blown over😔... one hit our historic log home but no apparent damage and no one was injured. It appears that it could have been a micro burst as the neighbors had no damage.
Devastating for sure as I had just finished all the new spring gardening and planting! So your tour of your parents garden is a good reminder to accept change and move ahead. I will look forward to sunnier areas where I can once again plant a vegetable garden! Thanks again. Your enthusiasm is contagious! 💕

What an exciting place to live and grow up. Your enthusiasm for plants is refreshing. I get pretty excited about plants but its so much fun to share the facination with others who are just as excited. I cant imagine the commitment of 20 years of watering all that without some watering system! I get a lit of inspiration from you and enjoy your love of growing. You also cover a lot of info and answer my questions before i can even ask. You got me getting my first two succulents that will help keep me grow happy during the fall and winter. Not ready to shift that way yet abd hilding onto hope for a fall garden. I also am wanting to finally start planning to get our first hellebore. Your info on them encourages me im making a good choice. Thank you!!!

This was another great tour. I now know where you got all of your inspiration!!! I can't imagine your parents taking care of all these gardens plus owning a large business. Lots of work and that must be where you got your work ethics, too!! Thanks for sharing!!!

This home garden tour has become one of my all time favorites. With every turn, a new collection of plantings, yet somehow,, the style is consistent throughout - pulling it all together. It looks so healthy, creates secluded spaces, & creates an intimate feeling, with each areas so lovely, I could be content if that is all there was to see! In reality - each area could be all the space some of us have to work with. Then, beyond the winding trail - long vistas. Not sure what was in the distance - but being in Oregon, I wondered if you can see the ocean in the distance...
It was quite charming to come out of the enclosed & winding garden path to a little barn, & penned in chickens & a talkative sheep. Loved that the cats seemed so delighted to have their Laura over, visiting. I viewed this on my phone, so looking forward to seeing it on my laptop, where I could see more detail, & then later - one day - on the flatscreen.
I wonder if they've ever won awards for this garden design! If not - they should have! It sure is a testament of what some people can accomplish if they can share in creating a vision, & then - are willing & able to work well together, to meet their goals. Just imagine how they feel to have created such an environment for themselves, their family, a place to entertain & now - a place the public can visit when they do public tours. Truly impressive. Very enjoyable!

Here I am, 2 years later watching this video again. The serenity of a mature, well-tended garden encourages me to keep going. Oh, and your Mom's garden shed brings TARDIS to mind. It looks so much bigger once you get on the inside. I know this isn't my last virtual visit. Thanks for sharing, Aaron and Laura.

The green lawn that looks into the distance with planting on both sides is amazing. Narrowing the green area with bigger beds might make it look more mysterious

What a heavenly place. It took an hour to showcase this beautiful garden, it takes
one look out of my kitchen window to see my whole garden. It takes me a couple
of days a week to keep up with my garden. I can only imagine how many people,
and hours it takes to maintain this place. Thank you Aaron for the magic tour
    with kitty and all!!

Hello from Australia. I came across your video by accident and thought I would take a peek and was blown away by your tour. The garden is amazing and you did such a wonderful tour describing the plants as you went. The filming was superb. I felt like I was there which is fantastic as unfortunately I will never get to travel and see the garden in person. Thank you so much for this video. I love it and will be watching it again and referring it to friends and family. It really got me inspired to make a move outside on a very windy and cool day when earlier I had been procrastinating about whether to go out in the garden or not.

    They need a donkey..
The use them here a Michigan State University with the sheep to keep the predators away.
    Great companions for farm animals.

Someone told me a story about a donkey kicking a mountain lion to protect a horse. The mountain lion was defeated.

We bought one of those baby seat floats where the bottom and legs dangle in the water. It flipped and could have drowned our daughter if I wasn't watching non stop. Then we bought a swim vest. She couldn't float in that either. It flipped her on her back but kept her head under. Again if I wasn't right there with her watching every move she could have drowned. Keep that in mind when swimming with your little one. Your mothers garden is so amazing. I'm completely blown away.
