There are some old cow camp cabins on the Grand Mesa, my family had one they set up back in the 1910s up there where they'd take cattle during summers.

Sweet! I was waiting to see what people think of it. Really thinking about a name change. The “Overland” name has developed such a stigma.

You know what would be amazing? The trail info /GPS info

    • @ScenicCityAdventures

True, Unfortunately I won’t be able to on this one. This is partly a trail system that was mapped out by lifestyle overland. I believe it’s called the high country trail system. I’m not sure it’s been released publicly yet so I’m not going to share information that was not gathered by myself.

@@ScenicCityAdventuresyou mean its in the high country system. So which trail is it in particular? Lifestyle doesn't map these out ever heard of giai GPS wre you get trails for free. Share the wealth don't hold put on people.

@@peterrossie1592 it takes a lot of time to go through Gaia and map long trail systems together. I’ve done it across multiple states and it takes time and effort. After looking at Gaia you need to go and look at the motor vehicle use maps and make sure that all the roads are open during the season. Make sure you weren’t crossing any private land…They put in the time and effort and until they choose to release the trail maps I will not be sharing them.

@@ScenicCityAdventures well that sucks! I contribute as much as possible to help others. So if anybody reads this Google high country trail system in Colorado. You will find it offers a bunch of trails.

Hopefully they be releasing the entire series soon. It works from New Mexico all the way into Colorado through the Alpine Loop area and all the way to the northern corner of Colorado. It’s a great trail system and I helped scout a few portions of it. I’m just not comfortable under cutting someone else’s work. I’ll message them and see if it has been released publicly yet. 👍🏻

Another great video. We would love to go out to Colorado. Really just anywhere. We haven't been riding since Dec. I have been busy with shop upgrades and working on my hot rod. I did order some new tires for the Escape that are a little taller and more aggressive. I also have a bigger better power steering cooler to install. So after that and a complete fluid change we'll be headed somewhere. Also in May we are spending our anniversary weekend in Prentice Cooper/Signal Mt. Should get some good video with the GoPro I got. After watching your videos, I decided I needed to step it up lol.

I live in grand junction and I have 11.5" of total clearance underneath my SUV running Falken Wildpeak AT's and I'm not sure the top of Grand Mesa is a friendly spot for an unlifted Ford escape buddy
