This channel could be one of the best English learning channels I’ve seen in recent years ! Very good job! You guys are seriously making this thing quite well.
Honestly guys I am speechless … thank you Liza and Kevin for these videos. They are simple, short, up-to-the-point, well-structured and easy to follow for English learners at different levels. I use English as my second language for over 20 years,… I have been living in English speaking countries as a student, a researcher and a working professional in my field. That being said, I always seek ways to improve my knowledge of English. This youtube channel is what I have been looking for, for years! Literally for years… I watch these videos over and again, even when the content is already part of my English knowledge… Can’t thank you enough! Great job!
As an avid English learner, I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn from the native speakers. I mean, there is nothing wrong in making mistakes or sounding not like a native speaker, but it's always worth to at least try to get better at this.
Wow! Even with a certain level of fluency, I couldn't imagine I'd have a so important grammar point to learn yet! It's hard to accept some of these rules, I'll have to watch again and again later to be more confident! That "avoid" tip was very useful! Thanks Liza and Kevin!
British English textbooks (e.g. Gateway, M.Swan's Practical English Usage) and dictionaries (Longman, Oxford) teach the pattern 'recommend somebody to do something' which causes some confusion. (e.g. Students are recommended to make an appointment with a counselor. We'd recommend you to book your flight early.)
Wonderful. That time when you almost ready to speak, but you don't know what stops you from doing it. These are grammar points, that very helpful. I will recommend your chanel every appropriate time😮
If you want to learn English, to speak like a native speaker , to have a good time, so I RECOMMEND English for everyone! There are a lot of good teachers, but Lisa and Kevin are not good teachers they are EXCELLENT! Frankly, I have progressed in a dizzying way! I can’t wait for the next video!
Seeing someone who is really willing to offer a high-quality teaching for others who want to learn another language is something makes my heart beaming, cause it seems there are very few who know how to teach whitout faking, most of them have been teaching in a missconcept way. Having said that, amazing though it may seem, you guys make seem everything easier as it seem.
Hi. Sup? I was watching a video about Subjunctive and I learned that in British english we can use *SHOULD* : My doctor recommended that I should see a specialist.
Thanks for everything you've been doing for us my amazing teacher keep up the good work!!! My brother recommended that i steal somebody's dead presies yet i refused
Hello my favorite teachers Kevin & Liza! I’m happy to recommend your helpful and useful channel to my friends. Thanks a lot for your teaching 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️

Simply superb explanation from both of you. You are lovely teachers. One can easily understand in the first instance itself from the way you teach. Great.
Thank you teachers. I have one question: I heard some native speakers say "recommend not to do sth" , "recommend sb to do sth", are these usages acceptable or should we generally avoid using them?
Hi, I have a request, please make a video about how to order in restaurant, fast food places and also how do order by phone. Both of you are doing wonderful job. We are learning so many new things every day. Thank you so much for your hard work 🙏🏼
Thank you a lot. I used to do similar mistake when I was applying for jobs, like “ I was recommended by Anna to apply for this position.” Based on today’s lesson, it should be “ I was recommended by Anna that I apply for this position.”
Hi Kevin, hi Liza First of all, thank you for teaching both grammatically correct, and real life american english in such a professional way. I have one question and one request. My question is: if my understanding is correct, are we supposed to say: "They recommended (that) she HAVE a fair discussion with him". And my request is: do you have a similar video about the verb offer? Thank you again for sharing useful information we can rely on.

"They recommended (that) she HAVE a fair discussion with him".

Hi, in the Oxford dictionary, there can be an optional "sb" between "recommend" and gerund. i.e. recommend (sb) doing sth. I'm confused.
Hey so far so good thanks a lot
Excellent topic.
Love this video!
Thank you teacher🌹❤️🌹
