I bought the FI Exhaust two days ago. Can’t wait for it to arrive and get installed. I went with the FI because it sounded the most aggressive and it was way cheaper than the Akrapovic and IPE Exhaust.
Some cars had downpipes done, so not really good example of exhaust systems, as just doing both downpipes to straight pipes will make the car louder on stock turbo back. I think Fi wins here, looks mostly stock and sounds decent and not too aggressive with valves closed. Armytryx sound mean, but if you need a separate remote to control the valves its not worth it. Akra is too expensive, not worth its weight, and they lie about it being titanium, its only the axleback piping, the midpipes are still steel, pun intended.

To get the turbo sound you need replace the downpipes. The are primary and secondary downpipes, replacing both to high flow system or complete de-catted pipes will give you the spool up sound, even with stock exhaust. Replacing secondaries only won't get you a CEL, but getting primaries without a cat will need a tune to turn off the CEL, and if you live somewhere where you need smog inspections it won't pass.
@@GXMAN16 Do you think just getting secondary downpipes will improve sound by a lot ? or do you really have to do both to really hear a big difference?
@deel eem I know that doing both downpipes makes big difference. There is plenty of guys that a running catless down pipes on stock turbo back. Mainly to get a stg2 tune. I'm not sure about just replacing the secondaries. I'm planning on replacing the axle back and secondaries. Keeping stock midpipes with resonators. You can always start with just replacing the secondaries, try it out and get an axleback or full turbo back later if needs to be. It's normally plug and play and reversible.
@@GXMAN16 Thanks. I am about to order AWE catback track exhaust and MAD secondary downpipes. I was going to go with Remus exhaust but currently on a budget and can't stand the stock exhaust, way too quite for me. I would love to do primary downpipes but I do not want to tune my car. Really hoping that the awe and mad downpipes make the car a lot louder.
@deel eem Yes I'm thinking of getting a similar set up the MAD secondaries and Remus axleback. Yours should be really loud just with the AWE cat back alone. Be aware catback systems without mufflers will produce drone at lower rpms. AWE is a very aggressive system and sounds awesome at full throttle, but it will drone during highway trips and normal city driving. So think twice before you buy, I'd keep the valves.
Akra sounds the best. All the others are just loud for the sake of being loud and obnoxious, especially the forced pop and bangs that ultimately wear down the engine valves prematurely, just for some annoying theater to tell the world you like a bowl full of rice with your wheels.
I feel as though Remus had to be the worst one. The sound was far too harsh and had no distinct character behind its sound. Akrapovic had to be the winner here

What's your job bro 😭

Fi-Exhaust and Remus Exhaust is the best exhaust for M5 F90!!!!!!!!!!!💪💪💪👍👍🤯🤯🤯
First exhaust isn’t stock. The mperformance costs around 7k€ and made of titanium
It’s a factory piece

I just don’t know what to go with I want that turbo noise so badly

iPE is expensive for being made in Taiwan iirc?
Im confused between the FI and Remus.

Some fool in the comments said don’t buy this car bmw gives you lot of issues 😂😂😂
IPE💪
IPE all day
no valvetronic exhaust
Somebody suggest me... Fi or Remus
FI
AKRA is the best but way too expensive IMO.
Or just do electric cutouts for like $200
a very "regular" design for a 600hp car sorry
Kinda the point lol
It’s a sedan, what do you expect, crazy DTM widebody or what?
tbh with you, that is true, but facelift (LCI) models look so much better and a lot more aggressive than this models in the video.
This car has a lot of issues and problems, better get a Prius or a Kia
🤣🤣
You do have many problems, but in your head 🙃🙃

agree akrapovic sounds very good
For $3500 not a terrible sound tho but i agree can’t go wrong with akrapovic
hell no the IPE comes second!
