i was living in kibutz hatzor since septembre 1970 to march 1971...and while i was working i used to hear all these songs, over..and over..and over...i loved them so much..i bought the record...but with time,,,moving from place to place...the record didnt sound anymore. now finally!!!i found these beautiful songs so full of memories..again..i wish so much to be able to go back to israel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thanks for posting.
Growing up in NY, I was so into this back in those days. I remember in particular having the 8 track cassette tape of one of these. Wonderful

אך איזה זמרים היו פעם.איך אפשר להשוות עם הזבל של היום.
לפני 50 שנה לאף אחד לא הפריעה שירת נשים (עדנה לב, אילנה רובינא, יפה ירקוני, דינה גולן, הדסה וגליה רבינוביץ', עירית סנדנר)
כי היתה להם מטרה לשיר בתמימות לא חיפשו למשוך ולעורר יצרים. וכולם יושבים רגועים ומקשיבים. אפילו נתנו ביטוי ללבוש כי הלבוש של היום פחות מכובד.
זה לא ארוע חרדי זה רק סיגנון חסידי אבל כל המישתתפים חילונים
שמתם לב שהקול = הווליום מאוד חלש יחסית? גם אם עושים בפול ווליום
I had the cassette tape version of this very Festival's vinyl recording by Hed-Arzi. But I'm not able to find it anymore. And I live in Brasil, what makes impossible for me to find another vinyl or tape by now. Thanks for this mementum. I would be most grateful if you can send me the name(s) of the author(s) of "Al Shlosha Devarim" song and where I can find the lyrics in transliterated hebrew to latin charachters.

Wow, I have been looking for this for a long time! I used to hear this every time I slept over at my grandmother's house as a kid, she always put it on for my sister and I when we were going to sleep. It was on an 8 track that is how we always heard it. My grandmother passed away several years ago and I was lucky enough to get her 8 track player and the 8 track from this festival. I would listen sparingly so I wouldn't wear out the 8 track or the player and could not figure out how I could hear it any other way. Thank you so very much for putting this on You Tube!
I also have a question, are you sure that this is from 1971 and not 1970? I only ask because the 8 track that I have clearly states that it is from the 1970 Hassidic song festival and the songs and even the recording sounds are exactly the same with the only exception being the verbal introductions to each song and maybe one song out of order but besides that it is the same. If you could, please let me know.
+Adam Proctorstein Hi Adam, thanks for sharing some of your childhood memories. Apparently, this festival took place during the week of Sukkot (which must have taken place in October 1970). The reason for the confusion is that the Hebrew calendar year of תשל"א is almost automatically associated with 1971.

i was in kibutz hatzor in 1970...and while working..we used to listen this music all day long. i bought the record...but in one of the manymy movings...i lost it...i have been looking this record for many years...and finally thanksto youtube..i found it. it brings memories , wonderful ones, of my life in kibutz hatzor.
מוזר.... יש חלק מהמתמודדים שנתנו להם לשיר 2 שירים ,מה שהכפיל את סיכויי הזכיה שלהם... היום זה היה נחשב לשערורייה ו"משחק לא הוגן".
לדוגמא:המבצעות של שיר 3, ביצעו גם את שיר 9.
המבצע של שיר 7 יגאל בשן ביצע גם את שיר 12.
וגם הלהקה שביצעה את שיר 2 קיבלה עוד שיר.
שאר המתמודדים קיבלו רק שיר אחד...

שימו לב חילונים שרים גם נשים ואין כל בעיה מה קרה אז ההלכה היתה יותר מודרנית בשנות השבעים ?

הפסטיבלים האלה העשירו מאד את התרבות הישראלית
