    It makes me so sad that these women don't find out how shitty their husbands/boyfriends are until after they've had children with them (or while they're actively having said children). They're stuck with these losers in their lives forever because they share children.

    While I may have found the fart joke/prank funny, not every person would. Plus she was in labor. Read the room, dude. His behavior after, however, would have sealed the deal for me as well. Immature, abusive behavior from that guy. Ew af

    • @woman_of_mayhem
      @woman_of_mayhem Год назад +23

      Same here. Especially since she went in saying no jokes. I’d be so upset. I’ve gone threw labor 4 times and my husband knows time and place. We make fun and pick on each other but labor is serious, things could go wrong. His behavior after is huge red flags!!

    • @alexartemisia
      @alexartemisia Год назад

      Yeah, it isn't so much the prank as the behaviour afterwards for me as well. Like my guy, your wife just went through 12 hr of labour, your asinine sense of humour AND is three weeks into "the fourth trimester" - get a grip and grow tf up. There only needs to be one baby in this dynamic rn and it's not you bro

    • @lina9535

      Yeah, I agree.
      Besides, if it was anything like my sisters ex's farts.... it would have cleared the room, or someone would have thrown up.
      Would he really want his childs first breaths to be of his stanky ass air?

    The dish washing story- the boys chores aren’t even that hard and are not a daily occurrence like laundry and doing the dishes. Mowing the lawn takes a couple of hours every 2-3 weeks and isn’t even a job you need to do in the winter. Also the big jobs are split between the 2 boys but there’s only the one girl helping in the house it’s just silly to say they’re doing more work. This also puts the boys at a disadvantage when they live alone and it’s why so many straight women have to look after their partner like they’re a child because they never learnt how to run a household

    • @inni_k7767
      @inni_k7767 Год назад +11

      Also the lawn would never get bigger, just the weeds, but the amount of clothes and dishes can grow a lot

    • @tulip324
      @tulip324 Год назад +7

      Exactly. If anyone has ever had to do laundry and dishes for 5 people they’d know it’s extremely strenuous because dishes are often washed twice a day depending on the time of year and laundry for 5 people is usually done daily.
      Also laundry in and of itself is like 4 separate tasks

    The dishes one physically hurt me. My grandma taught her kids the same divide of chores, and my dad ended up being a single father. He had noooo idea how to clean a house and therefore I had no idea how to clean a house until I was a teenager. I will always be a proponent for cycling chores so that your children are capable of fully caring for themselves.

But once you bite it, it's sort of like a eating a moist rubber sponge 🧽 maybe next episode you guys could try some with different toppings, and see what you think! " Rate my crumpet! "

    The father not letting his sons do the dishes because they have "more work"... I'm sorry, how often are they mowing the lawn taking out the trash, and doing heavy lifting? Because taking out trash would be once a day, mowing is usually once a week and heavy lifting shouldn't be happening more than a few times a month. Plus there are 2 of them. Meanwhile the 1 daughter is cleaning up after 5 people all day EVERY DAY. Laundry for 5 would happen at least twice a week, washing folding and putting away. Dishes at least 3 times a day. House cleaning for at least a couple hours every day. Not to mention probably cooking for all of them as well. Tell me again how your sons have more work and harder work than your daughter? And that's not even mentioning how misogynistic this whole thing is. I bet we will see his sons on "Does This Guy F*ck" at some point in the future. Bet they're "nice guys" because of their father.

    As a new mom who went to a crazy 19 hours of labor, if I was the OP, I’d react the same way. That is such not a good time to just do a prank or whatever and he’s being insensitive. I remember when I was in labor my husband was just scrolling through his facebook and I got pissed (bec of too much pain and he didn’t help me soothe it in any way like massage my lower back maybe). So yeah, any pregnant women in labor or in delivery is not on their right state of mind. We’re focused on the pain. The husband is the AH.

      My mom was in labor 24 hours with my brother and the nurse rolled her eyes at my mom when she asked for ice. My mom grabbed her by the throat and flipped out.
      After having my fourth, yeah. Labor is the worst. Four best & worst days of my life. I lost so much blood during my first that I passed out and couldn’t even hold my baby until 4 hours later. My husband held her, let the nurses boss him around, held my hand.
      Like, the whole point of being there is to support your wife while going through the worst pain.

    My uncle is/was an addict (I don’t know if he’s stayed clean since 1. I haven’t seen him since 2018 and 2. I’m no contact with him due to the request of my dad which I want to respect). He’s been an addict for most of the time I’ve known him. Him relapsing was the reason I went no contact, due to him drinking again and him verbally assaulting my grandma and assaulting my grandpa. Grandparents didn’t know he had relapsed till he was told it’s time for dinner. OP of the second story did the correct thing. 100% the correct thing.
    OP if you’re reading this, it’s not your fault and if you need to cut ties for a while and go low contact, please do it (and if it’s fake and anyone can relate, same sentiment applies)

    One thing that bothered me about the chore story, it sounds like along with assigning the kids chores, the wife cooks (possibly by herself) and cleans along side the daughter. No where did we hear that the dad even does or helps with ANY chores. He should be teaching his kids the importance of ALL the chores and show a willingness to do them himself or he’s going to make the chores feel like a burden for them instead of as something necessary to maintaining a household

    In regards to the first story. She will most likely keep the baby. Because she hasn’t worked and he was the bread winner he can be liable to pay for child and spousal support. It can be in her favor unless she’s proven to be a danger or incompetent parent. She should save all his text and keep record of him being abusive. Hope she’s doing well.

And afterward he behaved like a spoiled brat. And allowing his mother to call OP a b*tch?!?!? Not speaking to her for a week? Not helping with their newborn daughter? This guy AND his mother are disgusting . I hope OP can get herself and her daughter away from both of them.

    First story only prank videos I find cute or funny are the ones where one parent helps the kids pull a super innocent actually funny prank on the other parent… those aren’t mean tho are usually at home so no public humiliation and the parent being pranked laughs and thinks it’s funny when it’s brought to light! That is a prank half of these videos are skirting the edges of bullying under the guise of a prank! Also with this story harmless or not he agreed then fully broke her trust during what is probably the most vulnerable moment of her life!

    ...I SO the f hoped the AI generated story would be the "prank during labor" one.
    Call me sentimental, but every now and then I like to believe that perhaps, somewhere, one time, ONE actual "human" being would be FICTIONALLY horrible. But no. And the fact that he flipped out SO. FREAKING. MUCH, and never _stopped_ flipping out, and doubled, tripled, and quadrupled down, and did NOTHING AT ALL when he realised _how_ seriously he messed up other than say "Don't take anything I paid for"...not even THEN, did he even THINK to perhaps say the TEENSIEST scrap of "sorry"...
    Are you _actually_ mad because you weren't allowed to see the birth, dude, or are you REALLY mad because somebody dared to ever tell you, "No."?
    We don't need a Biblical style "Hell" to be afraid of. Hell is right here on Earth and it's people like him (and he's a MILD example, I can't even go near the insaneparents subreddit because it makes me want to rip down the walls and scream and cry at things that I can't actually help anything about, ever). Forget all _fictional_ monsters; if people could just STOP. BEING. D!CKBAGS just because they can, all the time always, all the REAL actual evil of the world would be gone!
    Yeah, sure, we'd still have natural disasters. But they're not deliberate. Unfortunate, not evil.
