I have a lot to think about, thank you for all of the helpful points 💕 I will definitely update you all on the outcome when it comes, this has been weighing on me for a good while. So much love, and thank you all! 🫰🏻 (And good attempt at the heart Josh, keep practicing 💕)

      I know it’s been a while and I hope everything worked out for you, but I just wanted to say: it’s not your responsibility to keep others comfortable when their comfort consists of denying your reality or humanity. Not telling her might avoid additional strain to your relationship with her, but it also means that you will have to tiptoe around a prominent part of your life that you are excited about every time you talk to her. If she’s uncomfortable with it, that’s her burden to carry. Not yours 💗

      Hi other Demi here. I wanted to say thank you for sharing this story as I came out to my homophobic mother about 2 years ago right before going no contact. I knew she was super religious, conservative, & homophobic when I came out & it was a contributing factor to way I cut off contact. I'm knew to the channel (just found it yesterday) so if you gave an update I haven't heard it yet. Hope everything works out for you.

    I have a feeling that the wife having feelings for her friend is just confused feelings because of his own confession and the fact they’ve ended up in close proximity afterwards. He’s definitely playing games here and some space between them should help - don’t let him be your maid of honour

    I'm glad that Josh called out the wikimaniac who has feelings for their friend - it saved me from typing a whole paragraphs in these comments lol. Both OP and their friend suck here and need to cut contact completely if OP wants to keep their current relationship and not be a cheater. everyone makes mistakes OP so don't be too hard on yourself - just be better moving forward

      @@Oujibug Depends. Saying you're willing to cut someone off while keeping both hands on the rope holding them up with no movement to grab a knife is a shit thing to do. Honestly sounds like they were both playing stupid at being "friends" but in reality keeping each other in the back pocket just in case. That most def is a cheater mindset and need to both be called out and worked on.

    For the 2nd story, the bf and the writer are wrong. As soon as the best friend admitted that, she should've kept her distance and told her husband. But the fact that she kept it and even had a close encounter with him meant that she entertained it and did indeed cheat emotionally.

    The first story and past episodes reiterate that I'd be safe if I were to meet the boys.
    John: axhole
    Me: Lizzie!?
    Also it's my opinion (just mine, could be wrong) that Lizzie didn't kill them. There wasn't really time to do both and be completely clean. Her doctor gave her drugs to calm down so her answers were weird. There was three instances of a weird man being around a few days before the murder and twice on the day of.
    Last podcast on the left has a good episode about her if anyone wants to listen.

    About unliking someone
    Take the traits, mannerisms, whatever, that you don't like and focus on those, really focus on them, no attention to the things that you like
    If all else fails, just repeat in your head "they unalive kittens/puppies for fun" (it's morbid, but it usually works)

  • @HectoGames
    @HectoGames 2 месяца назад

    Story 1 as a trans man: OP needs to wait with presenting the info until she(?) is ready to lay down the law. Its the mother who is alienating herself from a modern society, not the other way around. OP needs to be ready to tell the mother "hey, dont think i forgot what you said because thats the reason i am telling you this. If you interrupt me at any point i will hang up and never speak to you again. I am getting married to (gf). This is my white flag to you. You have the opportunity to choose how to act now, knowing that if you ever say anything but supportive words about this marriage and my gf, you will be blocked within the minute and that will be the last time we speak. So, goodnight and talk to you later."
    Edit: spelling mistakes
    Also adding. I know im cutthroat with this shit. But this is my bare minimum for feeling safe in marrying this person. This is a turbulent time and I need to know that the person im marrying would riot in the streets without question for my ability to have a life worth living

    You guys made me laugh so much! 😂 this episode as always was too funny, I hadn’t laughed so much in a while.
    Also for the story of maid of honor, I think the guy friend definitely sucks and she also has blame… she has to talk with husband and be honest, but I don’t think she likes him like that… when someone so close to you confess it can make you feel confused. When I was in my teens I had an experience similar (although I was single at the time) I did go out with my friend but soon found out I didn’t like him like that… and told him gently. She has to cut contact off for herself but also for her friend, both will need time to get over it and it would do them no favors at all to spend time together.

    I hope this doesn't come across as abrasive or sexist but I (M20) have been listening to you guys for the last couple weeks at work while I work third shift in a factory. I enjoy listening and you guys make me laugh but I do get slightly bothered as you generally give guys more flack and women more slack on their actions. On the story of the car tire, I enjoyed listening to your reactions but I couldn't help feeling a little disturbed. If I understand you well enough, if the roles with the story were reversed you would have given the prankster a lot of heat as gaslighting and manipulation in a relationship are toxic. I realize in the original story that the boyfriend was being toxic to his girlfriend but I don'tthink should toxicity as a response should be praised. I understand that as guys you are more likely to be more judgemental towards men as that's human behavior with in groups. In the American prison system, an individual is more likely to be jailed if their judge is the same race as them, so in the same streams of thought I get why you are more harsh with men. I hope this doesn't come across poorly and I mean no insult. I don't think this comment comes from a frame of fragile masculinity, I just wanted to point out a trend I noticed in your videos. Enjoy your content and have a good day.

    Caucasian ain't white. It's West Asia. Have y'all ever studied geography? Can Americans just stop using other people's ethnicity to describe European Americans who have literally nothing to do with the Caucasus region or people? Like okay, if y'all are so desperate to find a way to name one's origin in every conversation, call them what they really are, Europeans. Do research before using words, google is literally free and whites really should stop colonizing every pretty word/place they like. No hate to these guys, I really love the content but it's really disappointing to see the misusage of the word Qafqaz, with every creator I like, it's the same. Please educate yourselves.

    • @starsearcher92
      @starsearcher92 Год назад +9

      Historically speaking, the term Caucasian is derived from the look of the people in the Caucasus region. A German anthropologist became enamored with the people there and thought them to be the ideal type of beauty. He brought the term back throughout all of Europe and the term was adapted to systems representing a multitude of Euro cultures and ancestry. It developed from there. Words and meanings evolve. Also... for the record the Caucasus region is Georgia, Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan area... Which is a part of Europe as well as West Asia....

    • @sevda.c
      @sevda.c Год назад

      @@starsearcher92 culturally and geographically speaking it is definitely not part of Europe. People look mix of a West Asian, Slavic in some parts and Middle Eastern. Culturally it's very unique and it's own. You're very correct with the countries that it includes. And these countries have A LOT in common that is literally only Unique to this region, not to Europe or even Asia. So as I said just cuz they thought word is pretty, people are pretty let's colonize the word to use it to describe ourselves even though we have nothing to do with them is just disrespectful. And now people who has no idea where is what are using the word to describe White Americans. it is appropriation.

      @@sevda.c you’re really mad about an English word and this is definitely not the outlet for it, I mean it’s not like these guys have the power to change encyclopedia’s definition of a word for the whole English speaking population. BTW it isn’t only used by “dumb” Americans and it is used in official documentations like medical records, passports, certificates etc. If you feel that strongly about it then generate a petition and start spreading the word through your social channels, the power to change the world and stop them “colonizers” is in your hands 🤷‍♀️

    • @sevda.c
      @sevda.c Год назад

      @@Apolinariah it's not an English word, it's a Greek/Persian word. Word is Qafqaz referring to the people who live here and sharing culture and heritage. In English, the word itself lacks any real scientific meaning but hangs on as a blanket term for white/European people because the U.S. legal system made use of it to shape policy and the nature of its society. So yes it is stolen. It is the same thing as calling idk let's say German Americans "Desi" all of a sudden. And then they have to create a petition to stop this bs? Bruh, everyone from this region is hating what Usa did with the word and says stop it and y'all are like create a petition? It's basic respect. People who are real Caucasians living literally in the region of mountain Caucasus saying stop misusing our name, thus there's no discussion.

    • @KindredKaye
      @KindredKaye 11 месяцев назад

      You are correct about Caucasians. I would like to add that not all white people are European and not all of the people in this video are white. Many people in the US don't know about the origin of the word Caucasian. They think it's a more polite word for white people. People don't know what they don't know. It's okay to correct ignorance, but it's futile to meet ignorance with hostility
