I grew up in Harlem. This song came out when I was in high school. There was not a block you couldn't walk or drive down and would not hear this song. Seeing people I grew up with in the Chicken Noodle Soup video makes me so proud to be from Harlem. We were definitely ahead of our time as teens.
Man I’m from the is era. I’m from New York and I was in high school when this dropped, you really don’t understand how HUGE this song and dance was unless you were there lol this dance sparked the whole Get Light movement..that style of dance literally influenced most modern day dancers (even if they don’t know it lol). People like Chris Brown would get most of his dance ideas from the Harlem kids of the time. Man…CryBaby, Swiss, Webstar, Breakfast Club…etc. they were a MOVEMENT! Glad to see they are getting their flowers!
I got chills watching this. Chicken Noodle Soup made its way down to the southeast and it was infectious. Pure black joy. Thank you for this moment in time, Bianca
This is actually a beautiful story, and it’s nice to see it being told out side certain media like Love and Hip Hop, and I feel like these story’s need to be told more in this light!
Im just mad they didn’t really tell us what she is doing now so we can support cause she is obviously a good person and loves her craft ❤ an update into her current musical journey and content was definitely needed
@@jasminejohnson3930 thanks captain obvious. Did you read the comment , the point is to celebrate the person and highlight how they moved on and what they are doing now.
I learned about Chicken Noodle Soup from J-Hope and Becky G's remake of the song. It was a cultural movement even for a kid in South Korea who loved dancing! Music has no boundaries
Yes love! Southern California born and raised, we were in high school and we loved this song so much! I can’t believe you got pushed to the back on this, your voice and ingenuity was eveeeerything. I harass my kids with this song and dance to this day! 😅❤❤❤❤
I've never been to Harlem and I wasn't on the internet when Chicken Noodle Soup came out. This song had to spread to South Korea and inspire Jhope of BTS to make a cover/tribute for me to hear it. Jhope made me want to dance when I hadn't danced in years. Dancing brings me so much happiness now and that may not have happened without Bianca, so I'm grateful
It’s crazy that no label has tried to sign her since her breakout song?! Bianca is very talented & she deserves to be doing the thing she loves most, music!!!
Mamas you got this ! You crawl and fight like you're back in the hood again ! I believe you can make another hit ! Yeah it's been almost 20 years but I'm 29 now and if I hear chicken noodle soup anywhere I'm still dancing ! That's the only dance I learned as a kid because of you ! Almost 20 years later and it's still playing and it still hit us the same. How many artist today can say the same thing ? Do you know how many artists song I listen to and I can't listen to it again, but I can listen to chicken noodle soup don't let that go over your head. ( who's real one hit wonders ) Don't beat yourself up. Also God works right on time ! You never know. Sue Webster I say.
The fact still stands she was overlooked and stolen from . Something that could have impacted her life more than it already was it was someone’s name on it
That song was popular when I went to prom. I remember doing the dance in Brooklyn in stilettos. It was not easy, but it was fun 😂 Edot: This touches me to know that something from my generation started all these inspired viral dances everyone sees on Tik Tok and RUclips today
omg bianca !! im so happy to see her finally get her moment .. i remember seeing her on love and hip hop and i live all the way in minneapolis. she fucking deserves every last bit of it she has worked her ASS off
"Chicken Noodle Soup" became much more than just a popular song; it became a cultural phenomenon that transcended borders and brought people together through dance.

Aww. I remember this era! She deserves all her flowers && Peep my girl Teyana Taylor (6:00). She's been grinding for a while. Been here since the 'Google Me' days lol.
That girl deserves the world, personally I can assure you that they didn’t give her the chances she deserved because she has true talent, now unfortunately they want to control artists….well deserved B ❤
Lord, I am from the deep south and this blows my mind. So many people I know and myself thought this song was by Lil mama. Did we just forget the video?. Love this! She made herstory and I'm just finding out her name, smh.
Bts fan's need to see this real talk. Both J-Hope and Namjoon are obsessed with this era of hip hop. J-Hope remixed this song and made it popular with the fans. When I say this song was a GenX favorite. To this very day!!
The truth always, always comes to light. Even if it’s 20 years later. So happy for you. Keep doing your thing queen.
It’s still sad that her opportunity was taken from her
Yup. May god double her opportunities.

And it pains me that gentrification is erasing rather than presenting that brilliance.❤
Yesss so glad to see Bianca get her flowers. What a special time to be alive when this iconic song and dance hit RUclips🌹🌹🌹

glad she can tell her story so many years later. this song was my childhood!! so many great memories
Did interest in this song come back after that Korean hiphop song sampled it????
This needs to blow up. So many people don’t know her but know her song.
Im just mad they didn’t really tell us what she is doing now so we can support cause she is obviously a good person and loves her craft ❤ an update into her current musical journey and content was definitely needed
Yea I'm mad they didn't tell us if she got her GED or not 😂
She was most recently on love and hip hop New York but I’m not sure what she’s been up too since then
That was way before 2010 though and she didn't make any music nobody wanted to work with her cause she was always in drama@@princetv365
Um you can look her up anywhere yourself just put her name in if anyone is a fan of someone they keep with them in social media

Can’t lie Chicken noodle soup was a big hit in the UK too ❤
All black American culture is big in the uk. All black American culture is big, worldwide.

me too
She took what was already done before her and claimed it as hers, gotta respect it ❤
I really feel like she should have got endorsements with chicken noodle soup she should have been on a commercial with chicken noodle soup like
She is telling her truth
No she’s telling the facts !
her truth, only hers
The amount of dances and videos on RUclips that stems from this is crazyyy!

I'm so proud of you doing videos like this keep it up with the good work my friends

Even in Jamaica this song was slapping!! 🇯🇲
The fact that Wikipedia says that chicken noodle soup is his sound is crazy
Black women have been written out of history for centuries. Mainly by black men.
Wikipedia can be edited! There's enough material on Bianca to cite....edit that article!
This was a real vulnerable moment for her. Def made me feel what she went through ❤️❤️
