My brother is a big Cold fan so I went to this show with him. We actually saw them two years ago and they do put on a great show. This was the 20th anniversary of their album, "Year of the Spider." As my Schoeps are out of commission for a while, I went with the ATs. One point I had a screamer next to me, but thankfully it was in-between songs. Tape came out decent. We were pretty close to the stage, so not sure how much I picked up on the PA. I felt like Scooter's mic was mixed pretty low.

Has anyone ever seen Scooter so excited and touched at a show? This 'new' band is extremely solid, and the audience... God, it feels like they were a thousand people there. Can't explain how I much I want and deserve to have been there. Yet from Argentina, somewhere they will never come, Cold still makes me feel alive.
youre right, ive seen Cold twice, the last time i saw Scooter he rocked the house but looked sad afterwards, i said hi and good show and walked away.
@@user-wo6ut5ij2c I guess these guys, specially ones like Scooter, that you can feel how connected they are with music in general, end up completely drained after the shows. Who knows what might have crossed his mind during the set, or what was he going through at that point to make him look like that?
Thanks for sharing your anecdote. We always want our idols to be happy, that's for sure, but being human is what allows them to write songs like these.
It's called session musicians. They are getting paid to a job very well.
But with every song, you can see the little things, that the original band members would do to give a little flair. I'm mainly focusing on Sam and the drums. But the guitars definitely do it too.
These guys played it note for note like they were paid to. I don't blame them because clearly they are good at what they do.
It's really not the same. At all. What we are seeing is basically Scooter's solo career. So why didn't we just do that in the first place? Why are we pretending that this is a "band" and just Scooter doing his thing? Which for the record, I'd be there for.

I remember when I was studying at university, back in 1998, THIS BAND BLEW MY MIND with their first album. I am now 45 years old.
I will surely never have the opportunity to see them live, so thank you, thank you, thank you so much for uploading it.
Last night I enjoyed it on a big screen. What an experience, INCREDIBLE AUDIENCE IN FLINT.

Scooter's just a different person. Then years ago. He's clean and sober. And more alert and talkative to the audiences. I know what that's like . I've been clean almost 7 years now. You're just happier and enjoy the little things. He's always been a beautiful person. But now he shines. His voice is still great.❤😂 I have loved him since the self titled album. ❤
im fucking pumped, ive been a massive fan since i was 18....im 42 now and this may is the first time i get to see them live..sooooo fucking excited. I just hope they dont play just radio hits...the real good tracks are the ones they didnt release as singles.

You might see Terry, Jeremy, Sam. I don't think Kelly will ever come back. Hopefully one day they will tour.

I thought I was the only one. I have always loved their music and was contemplating buying tickets for an upcoming show. I've watched a few of their most recent performances and yeah.... not good at all. I'm glad everyone was obviously having a great time at this show but if you listen close past the crowd's sing-along...(which I think he hides behind at this point) he sounds really bad for a majority. I hate to say that. I really was hoping for the best. I won't be going when they come here.
