I was interested in going to see them in KY soon, but then I found out that Sam had left the band again. Bummer!
13 ways to bleed on stage was and still is in my top 5 of all time albums... I listened to that album for months and months and still run through it once a year..When i was 19 it was a huge part of my life.
Except that's not Sam...
It's been the Scooter solo show for a minute now. Which honestly, any real fan would be here for. And is.
But let's not call it Cold. It's Scooter Ward. And his Different Kind of Pain that we are ALL here for.
He closed the show with Bleed and Rain song. Just Got Wicked was literally played before the encore.
This wasn't Cold. This was Scooter Ward Bleeding his Pain. And I'm here for it. But let's call it what it is.
Just saw them live for the first time ever! Holy shit, they sound amazing. I knew every freaking song (they did year of the spider album for the most part)

This general area is great for small venue shows. Unfortunately, Crocodile Rock in Allentown is now gone. Saw many shows there.

This has serious 2nd album Evanescence vibes.
Where Amy Lee drove every single person out of her band and had to fill in with who was around her.
For those that don't know, that's when Terry left Cold, right after Year of the Spider, just to be "the" dude in someone else's band. And Cold got thrown into a completely different headspace.
It's funny to see Scooter literally do the same thing with session musicians.
They can play, I'll always give them that....but their very presence onstage shows that they don't belong. There's no feeling, because their just playing someone else's songs for money.
So can we at this point just all get behind a Scooter Ward solo album? Because that's what all of this "touring" is doing in the first place.
That piano version of Rain Song was actually pretty good

first song not an opener followed with another slower song/ ? thought they play something more up beat. Like when a band comes out and punches you in the face with a power piece.
At this point I think they probably assume most people there are diehards. Back Home was the opener for much of the Different Kind of Pain album cycle shows. So we're pretty used to it being played first.
I love Back Home but I’d prefer Go Away as thier opener.
