Representing jax. Still my favorite local band and best loacl show ive ever seen. Got to hang out a little after the show, caught the drummer drumstick, got in )free planet radio was handing out free tickets) and got them to sign the cd booklet. 13 ways is still one of my top 5 favorite albums. Evergreen terrace first show i saw was a banger too. Tempo was too fast for stupid girl, scooter had a hard time keeping up. I keep checking back to see if the newer sruff sounds similar to this, it was always emotional but it used to be heavy too. Regardless, ill love COLD for life. I hope so anyway, i got the spider tattooed on me.
THe record company wanted a hit, contracts and shjit....Stupid Girl was to be the next hit, so they pushed that song hard and I dont think they really liked it back then as a band. I think they grew to appreciate it for what it is though. Just Got Wicked.....Thats ong dude.....If you were alive back then, Cold changed everything
Also, Just Got Wicked has a long enough intro. That's problem number 1. Problem number 2 is that in the first two lines Scooter curses. Not exactly TV friendly. So that was their decision. Let them play the intro and get those that know the band excited. So it boils down to having a long intro to a song. Because they are on a timer.
The first verse was hard to watch. Way to go sound guys. You literally threw off the backups because you couldn't get it together. Thank god they noticed and never touched the mic again.
