I LOVE this video because I've found that your one of the greatest resources for understanding, and editing when it comes to the game servers for consoles. HMMV's are one of my favorite trucks, used to drive many of them decades ago. I was wondering how I could design a "car lot" using the pc editor, server upload, and then play on PS @Nitrado server. My issue is that to get the HMMV's to spawn in at all, EVERY part must be spawned around them, and I don't want to take a bunch of time to do it that way, or make the lag on my server worse. To make them work, and disappear, so I'm thinking persistency may be an issue, as well.
yes you must make your own folder within the Pdrive and inside of it create a cpp base a new vehicle off of the vehicle offroad 02 or whatever the humvee is and declare the inventory size by using this code "itemsCargoSize[]={#,#};" each # will be your desired size of the inventory where the first # is rows right to left and the second is rows up and down . :) also pack the new folder as a custom mod but you can learn this with a few youtube tutos.
Is this still in the game? I have a nitrado server which i havnt touched in a long time but just started playing again. This doesnt appear to be in my servers coding. Any help appreciated.
Be a good idea if you put the hummers in your full trucks cars file u just screwed up my server as the damn files don't have the humvies aka offroad02 vehicles are missing on types and events and the 2 XML files
I’m on XBox and have my own server. I can only find Humvee wrecks. No parts for it and no military convoy and no new bunker. I emailed Nitrado they basically said look at some posts for help. Help out be appreciated. Thank you.
Just what has happend to the Xml I've had servers before and I'd like to think I have a good enough idea and now no matter what I do vehicles won't spawn with all parts....guns aswell spawn in with nothing any ideas scale speeder
I did as you said to add stuff in the back of the Humvee and result it removed every single thing on the Humvee the battery the tires the doors the hoods everything was removed when trying to add a Jerry can and other stuff in the boot
So maybe somebody in the RUclips comment might be able to help me. I’ve looked all around and I still can’t find a working a working HUMVEE in dayz. I’m on my own private server I have fiddled around with the files before but I’ve never actually managed to make anything work so if somebody can please help me that would be great. I’ve also found a lot of wrecks without any parts on them.
i never messed with the files and I found one in the dlc map bottom left corner of the map there is a small area over and found a glow plug randomly in a wreaked car
@@Twix2013PSN I appreciate the common at least somebody was listening. I did, however find out a way to make the cars not spawn in exactly but I guess whatever I did fix the problem because now I’m able to find other wrecked vehicles and take the parts from them

Major issue is they have to be assembled, part by part during the game. This "car lot" is going to be an "Owner Base".
You could create an event group, or use the proxy method.
Can you also send this to the DayZ devs too please 😂
So doing all of this, Is fine and dandy. Everything is solid, no errors. Cars/Trucks dont spawn with anything on them

My xml shows there are 57 locations the humvee COULD spawn, before any changes.
8 trucks spawn
I can only ever find 2 unless its a community server with mods and resets cars ever couple days
having trouble doing this to a sakhal gtx server any tips?
I'm guessing there's a problem on dayz end,all vehicles not spawning in full for us
sometimes it takes a couple days to kick in because there are cars on the map with the old setup, usually works with reset though so not sure bud
Is "Offroad_02" supposed to exist in the Types.xml as well?

Offroad_02 is not listed in my cfgspawnable types. Did you add it in manually and is it a secret?

To add stuff to the trunk you start a attachment line under the trunk line correct?
I would assume so but they have the coding weird for the humvee
