@@ScalespeederGaming I love all your videos. But I am have started a new campaign of not only liking video's but commenting on them a I understand it helps the algorithm.
My buddy rented a dayz server and we cant figure out how to get the server to show up on the server list with mods. we were able to join with no mods but when we add them, the server no longer pops up. if you possibly have any ideas on why this is happening i would really appreciated some assistance. Thank you
did you make sure you ; between all the mod names? if you miss one semi colon somewhere in the mods line the server won't show up. Also if you just copy and paste without looking at types.xml some authors write out the whole .
This can get weird. Having multiple secondaries doesn't seem to always work. The mentality that you have to get yourself into is keeping each event or instance simple, but then nesting events and stuff within other events and stuff - but keeping everything overall as as simple as possible. So, you could have your helicopter crash event. Your secondary on that event could be a new event that you create and name something like "ItemHeliLoot". I have found that an "item" event is kind of like a catch-all for everything. If an event isn't specifically for a vehicle or static object, then it should be "item". I *beleive* item events can spawn in anything, but YMMV. You'll then have to create that new "ItemHeliLoot" event, and put stuff in there - like wolves, weapons, crates, etc. Just copy an existing event to get the proper format. So, the helicopter event will spawn a helicopter, and the "thing" in the secondary. That thing in the secondary is set up to spawn the things inside that event. So forth, and so on. If that doesn't seem to work, then you just do a series of different events that all are located at the same spot. That's the way I do it. You could even have, say, an event with a helicopter crash that spawns crates. And then those crates have stuff in them as "cargo". You can do this by listing and modifying the odds of stuff appearing in crates (and other containers) in the "cfgrandompresets" and "cfgspawnabletypes" files.
What do I change if helicrashes aren't spawning loot ?
i finally fine my first helicopter, but i didn't find loot. Can you tell me why ?
Could you make a video on how to increase Dynamic Toxic Zones?
Contaminated zones do not use the deloot flag on their loot.
I tired to add the community online tools mod to my dayz local server but it says my mods arn't working. what would you say the problem there is?
I followed this guide and now none of the Heli Crash events have loot. No loot at all.
Same problem here 😮
@@JOETIBBS83 did you happen to find a fix for this?
Thanks
Welcome

I had the same issue, I just let the time run out on it.
Can you spawn wolves as a secondary event? or have 2 secondary events for one?
