Thank you for bringing to light some less-known composers. I adore slow movements in classical music and the andante is certainly a keeper.

What an overwhelming concert, thank you my dear Yulia. First time I hear it and for me does it still remind me of Rachmaminoff and they were peers. I see this as a very nice Christmaspresent from you! Fii sănătos, ești important pentru mine.

Thank you, dear Pieter! Today, St. Nicholas is celebrated in my country, the one who brings a lot of sweets, especially to children, but not only (even I received chewy toffees in dark chocolate :) ). So I'm glad you consider my posting as a gift!
Thanks again! May you and your whole family be healthy!

In our country is the St. Nicholas children's party today too but I have no grandchildren. Enjoy with the grandchildren today!

Well as much as generic late romantic concerto it may be, it's certainly to my taste more attractive than the turgid molass of Rachmaninoff concertos.
In Western Europe Novak is the least performed among the big three Dvorak pupils, by far less than Janacek, anyways. Perhaps it's because he's the one who shows seamless continuity with his master. I discovered recently but like most of what I listened, including this excellent work, joyful and energetic.

Thank you, Pietro Landri. I always like your comments. They are so direct and so enjoyable to read!
My impression was that this concert was emotionally reserved, but overall the music seemed extraordinary to me, although it had fallen into obscurity.
      Thanks again.

@Pietro Landri thank you very much on behalf of all of us! You are right, these are undoubtedly stressful times for us, those in Romania, we must always adapt to new patterns of behavior, which are, unfortunately, unpredictable. Personally, it is quite difficult to find my peace of mind.
      All the best to you!
