What a disrespectful person he was to that judge.

There's a telling part in Brooks's interrogation when, after whining about his 'shoulder injury', the cops step out to get him some Advil and he immediately drops the pretense and starts trying to dial out on the phone and read their notes. Brooks picks up his award winning 'shoulder injury' performance as soon as he hears the door open on their return. If it was a comedy skit it would be hilarious but one has to remember it is a part of the interrogation of a mass murderer which adds that element of disgust.

@@BluewaterbottleSovereign Citizens are people who pick & choose which, if any, laws apply to them & cherry-pick random bits of various cases & try to use them as precedent to try to circumvent the law. Most claim to only believe the Constitution, but some babble utter nonsense about the Magna Carta or the Moroccan Treaty or other garbage to try to prevent the law doesn’t apply to them. Most claim they’re not citizens of the US & think that gets them out of any responsibility for their acts. Even though just being within US borders means that you have to follow the law. They also try very hard to bog cases down with mountains of pretend legal paperwork & utter nonsense, in the hope that the courts will just give up on bothering to hold them accountable. Although there are some groups of SovCitiots, they’re not a single group, just a bunch of people who get told that if they do it right, they’ll get out of any charges against them. Some call themselves queens, kings, postmaster general, diplomats & other nonsensical titles. And some are dangerous, so the FBI has labelled many of them as domestic terrorists. Sadly, they aren’t isolated to America, but there are also a few in other countries. Just last year there was a horrendous attack by three of them that killed two Australian cops & a neighbour. And there have been some American cops murdered by them, most notably a father & son who shot a couple during a traffic stop. There are channels like Dummy Kruger, Van Balion, Ragical the Hallowed Knight & many others that have numerous videos on them. And you can find some of their websites, where some will sell you packages of information on how to fight court cases, particularly child custody, traffic & other criminal cases. They’ll even provide you with fake passports & other fake SovCitiot ID, fake licence plates & other ways to waste your money. Oh I forgot to mention that many of them are straight up scam artists who will sell you “kits” & advice, then when you fail, they’ll say you didn’t say something right or use the right words, or use your red thumbprint, or some rubbish to get them off the hook of responsibility. Because not one single SovCitiot argument has EVER been won in court, no matter what they claim. The best they’ve achieved is some cases dropped because of the expense & inconvenience to litigate, or when some charges are dropped in a deal. And a few years ago, before it had become so widespread, some cops would just let them go at traffic stops, even though they didn’t have licences, rego, insurance etc, either because they were baffled with the sheaf of paperwork these nuts pull out, or because they were near the end of their shift & just couldn’t be bothered. There are hundreds of thousands of videos of them because most are also narcissists like Brooks, so they do love videoing 🙄 The Moorish SovCitiots usually have the most outlandish claims if you’re looking for entertainment. And the Queen of Canada is a special prize 🙄🙄🙄

Here is my theory: brooks left erika in a rage because she was protected by two of her friends and he was clearly outnumbered. As we know, he has uncontrolled rage, he drives off, finds himself on the parade route, still in rage, not thinking clearly, instead of stopping or driving down a side street, which was barricaded and patrolled, he decides to keep driving on. He is still in a rage and true to his racist slurs on his social media sites, sees his opportunity to build up some street creds. He runs through the parade totally unprepared for the number of people marching in it. He has no other option but to keep going. He is totally unprepared for the damage to his vehicle and the shots fired by ofc. Scholten. He cannot stop during the parade or drive down a side street because of law enforcement presence. He knows he does not have a driver's license and he knows ge has outstanding warrants. He flees and the rest is history. This is what I think happened. Two things are a constant here brooks' rage and his inability to plan ahead. He is mentally stunted, there is no doubt, here based on his lack of impulse control and his inability to control instant gratification. That is why he runs back to mommy each time. Mommy gives him what he wants right away because mommy does not want to make him mad.
    Just my two cents.

Man, it's crazy how cameras are so prevalent now, whether phones or street cameras. Just nuts how much footage of weird/cool/horrible stuff we'd never used to see. When I was a kid tracking a crime through random cameras along the streets was some robocop stuff.

He shot at his nephew and his nephews friend a year before as a felon. He should have never been let out. If the judge would have held him until his trial for that last year that didn't take place till after this court case, this would have never happened. That judge has blood on their hands.

Idk, it was more like being crazy pissed off at his ex and raging while driving, giving zero shits about who was in his way. That rage got vented by mowing down anyone in his way. This guy is ridiculously obsessed with his ex, even in the trial he focused more on trying to make her look bad than defending himself from all those charges.

I agree and I don't see race in every issue. He had posted ALOT of racist and antisemitic stuff on social media. They didn't pursue the hate crime angle because it's so hard to prove and would just muddy the waters. They wanted him convicted as quickly and cleanly as possible so everyone could lock him up and move on, with minimal appeals etc. He wouldn't have received any more time for a hate crime than he did for murder, there's no death penalty in that state.

The scary thing about Darrell Brooks is that he is not some special kind of evil. It is the pure banality of his evil that is terrifying. He is just like every other criminal in your town, possessed of a total disregard for other people’s lives. All they care about is their own wants.
All Darrell Brooks wanted was to get away from the police and the consequences of his actions, namely his warrants and battery of Erica. The only difference between Brooks and every other career criminal was that he found himself on that parade route. Criminals fleeing the consequences of their actions routinely hit people and other cars while fleeing, it happens literally all the time. They don’t care, they drive off leaving injured or dying people in their wake. I saw a bad wreck just the other day where a robbery suspect sent a woman to the hospital with serious injuries while fleeing from a cop who wasn’t even chasing him because he didn’t know that car had a robbery suspect. That came out later because he was caught on ring camera running from the scene of the wreck.
The literal only difference between Brooks and every career criminal in your town is the number of people who found themselves between him and his goal of getting away.

exactly, there are so many more of this type of evil all around us, Darrel just had the misfortune to take out too many in his fleeing...if your in the wrong place and the wrong time, they will not hesitate to use your life to help them escape....which makes me wonder if he would of done a hostage situation with that kid if given the chance

Incorrect. He was motivated to commit this mass killing by a documented, racial hatred of White people. He wrote on social media about going out and committing violence against White people, with a focus on the elderly. And who are the majority of the victims? Elderly White people. He was not trying to get away from police. They weren't chasing him at all. This is obfuscation.

"All he was trying to do was get away from police"
No, he knew he was going away for a while so thought he'd carry out a fantasy he'd had before he went.
That's why he swerved into the fleeing crowd.

No. Definitely not insane. Just a psychopath who was sold the SovCitiot lie by someone in the last week prior to the trial starting, as a “get out of jail free” card. That didn’t work, like it never works for them. I watched the whole Waukesha Parade Massacre trial & you could tell that someone was coaching him on the SovCitiot nonsense as the trial went on, as he kept adding new angles. But in the appearances prior to him starting with that BS, he behaved totally normally. He’s a truly abhorrent person who deserves every minute of his multiple life sentences. Oh & if you look up Antisocial Personality Disorder, you will find he is a textbook case

Thanks a bundle for the video. This guy's demeanour from start to finish was something. He had a criminal record that was unsavoury, he gets into a row with his baby mother, who he was not suppose to be in contact with, loses his head and then ploughs into a parade with a vehicle, killing six people, including an 8 yr old.
The guy was not psychologically right. He's there on a stranger's doorstep, trying to get THEM to call an Uber for him, to get away from the area. He made no attempt to turn himself in, he had no qualms about what he had done, unbelievably. I mean, I can't drive on with pigeons in the road, much less, Cats and foxes. How he had the utter gall to drive through people, and run them over, was something.
He wanted attention. He said he wanted to contact his 'two girls'.....he's a father?!? And once Brooks knew the attention was on him, particularly in court, he had his 15mins. Over-talking the judge, the prosecutors, remonstrating and argumentative, very inappropriate courtroom attitude. How the victims' friends and family were feeling.....
He wanted attention, which is why he opted to defend himself. When it came to hearing his side, he wanted the attention on him, not anyone representing him. I also feel he felt he was not heard enough in other court proceedings, so he'll do the talking for himself this time. After all, he said it was HIS life on the line, not anyone else's.
but all said and done, he was rightly convicted. And he'll rightly not see liberation again. 73 or 76 convictions? Heck, 5 of them would have been enough to eternally jail him, let alone. This was Nov 2022, maybe he'd have had some time to reflect.

The same thing happened in my area too. I had let my in-laws have my infant daughter for some well deserved "me time" and they had intended to go to a parade but then my mother-in-law had a migraine or wasn't well in some capacity enough to make them not attend and it just so happened that a woman drove through the parade and killed 4 people. And I've no doubt that had my in-laws attended they would've been front and center and could've very well been part of the casualties.
It haunts me now every time I see a Christmas parade. Rather than feeling joy or festive cheer I am now wracked with the crippling fear that I could've lost my baby, my in-laws and could still very well because you never know when someone is going to snap and take out as many innocents with them when they go.
I shouldn't be afraid of going to the theater, to Wal-mart for f*ck sake and to send my baby to school but this is now the world in which we live and we've had 20+ years to nip it in the bud and yet it becomes an annual thing. No I know why people become recluses, because I don't want to be out there anymore.

It's not a competition, but please recognize there are countless kids from broken homes traumatized by every holiday, there are domestic ab* survivors (thanks RUclips censorship) and SA survivors who can't have so much as a hug without going into fight or flight or flashbacks, there are people out there suffering under normal conditions that should be joyous but for whatever horrific and unspoken reasons the wounds will never heal.
I hope you can enjoy Christmas again at some point. But use your trauma as a tool to reach others who are suffering and grieving, rather than to lament carefree days. It'll help you heal faster to serve others than to bemoan a lost future.

Same in Europe. Criminals have endless records. Crime, little jail time, early release, next crime, again and again and again. The whole system has changed from protecting the public to it mostly being about the criminals. Crazy.
